The news comes as a relief for those following the Robert Pattinson superhero sequel, which has faced multiple pushbacks. Warner Bros. has officially set The Batman Part 2 for release on October 1, 2027. The movie will begin filming in June 2026.
Matt Reeves Confirms Returning Cast Through Social Media Posts
Instead of putting out a standard press release, Matt Reeves made the announcements personal. He posted a series of GIFs from the first movie on social media, each one paired with a short message to the returning actors.
