“I was like, ‘Oh no. Oh noooo,’” Williams said about reading the script. “It’s also fun to have the plot thicken a little bit, especially because Elliot spends so much time being like ‘No, don’t time travel, don’t be reckless.’ And then to have the shoe on the other foot a little bit was exciting.”
Chyler Leigh got emotional during the same panel. She said this arc lets Elliot finally understand what Kat has gone through since season one.
“One of my favorite things about this season was just for Elliot to really experience it himself and have a deeper understanding of what it’s like knowing that ‘What happened will always happen,’” Leigh said.
Del Finally Remembers Her Love for Sam
While Kat dealt with Elliot’s betrayal, Del (Andie MacDowell) finally faced her feelings for Sam. For weeks, Del has been distant. She kept seeing visions of her late husband Colton. These moments held her back from fully committing to Sam.
Alice pushed Del to reach out. Del and Sam met for a talk. Sam wanted Del to remember something important. He asked her to think back to the moment he rescued her from the field. At the end of the episode, Del finally remembered. She had told Sam she loved him right before he saved her.

Elliot and Tessa’s Painful Reunion
