Tiffany Young recently appeared on the first episode of the global K-food talk show BYOB, which aired on October 4. Hosted by Park Joon Hyung and Brian, the episode showcased a cozy K-Pocha (Korean pub) with a scenic view of Seoul’s night skyline.

Tiffany’s Role in Chicago and Passion for Musicals

During the show, Tiffany shared her journey with the musical Chicago, where she currently plays Roxie Hart. She expressed her passion for musicals, saying:

“Even before Girls’ Generation, I wanted to be a musical actress. I saw Chicago when I was young and thought, ‘I want to be in this show.’ After auditioning, I got the role. This is my second season.”

She also touched on her nomination for the Best New Actress Award at the 29th Busan International Film Festival for her role in the movie Uncle Samsik. The hosts congratulated her for this achievement.

A Special Bond with Sooyoung

When asked about her closest friend in Girls’ Generation, Tiffany revealed her special bond with Sooyoung, explaining:

“I can have deep conversations with Sooyoung. Sooyoung also lived abroad when she was young, so we bonded a lot during our trainee days.”

She also shared a lighthearted moment about her friendship with Yuri, adding how Yuri brought champagne to celebrate Tiffany’s birthday, which led to some laughs.

The BYOB talk show offers a unique spin on Korean cuisine and beverages. Each episode features a guest bringing their own drink, with Korean dishes from local pubs served alongside. Tiffany, who brought Cass beer, expressed her desire to promote lesser-known aspects of Korean culture, such as Korean beer.
