He warned the thief to watch their back, but before he could say more, palace guards arrived. Gil-dong misunderstood Yi-yeol’s intent and fled. Yi-yeol was injured while stopping the guards from giving chase. The episode ended on a hopeful note as Yi-yeol once again encountered Eun-jo, setting the stage for their next interaction.
