Actor Trisha Krishnan is finding it hard to return to normal life after attending a star-studded wedding in Goa. The four-day celebration for Avantika Sundar, daughter of actor-politician Khushbu Sundar and filmmaker Sundar C, left the actress with what she calls “wedding withdrawals.”
Trisha took to her Instagram Stories to share her feelings. She posted a picture from the wedding where she was seen with Tamannaah Bhatia, Khushbu Sundar, and Sundar C. In the caption, the actress expressed her gratitude for the memorable experience.
“Thank u my Khush and Sundar sir for drowning us in so much love and fun for 4 whole days. Still dealing with wedding withdrawals. Tammy we need to catch up more often my sweetest.”
The wedding took place on June 25, 2026, at a luxury resort in Goa. It was a lavish ceremony that brought together many famous faces from the Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film industries.
Khushbu Sundar Calls Trisha Krishnan ‘Azhaghi’
Khushbu Sundar also shared her love for Trisha on social media. She posted a picture of herself hugging the actress and smiling. Khushbu captioned the photo with a simple but meaningful word.
“Azhaghi (beautiful woman),” she wrote.
The warm exchange between the two actors shows the close bond they share. Trisha was one of the bridesmaids at the wedding, along with Tamannaah Bhatia. Both actors were seen in matching ivory and beige sarees during the celebrations.
Star-Studded Guest List at Avantika Sundar’s Wedding
The wedding was a grand affair with many celebrities in attendance. Some of the biggest names from South Indian cinema blessed the couple.
Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Venkatesh were among the Telugu superstars who attended. Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Jackie Shroff also made their presence felt at the ceremony.
The guest list also included Amala Akkineni, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Sarathkumar, and Suhasini Maniratnam. A video from the wedding showed Trisha seated in the front row, chatting with Chiranjeevi and his wife.
Both Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor embraced the traditional South Indian dress code. They were seen wearing a vesti and mundu, which quickly went viral on social media.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay Skipped the Wedding
One notable absence at the wedding was Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay. He did not attend the ceremony, even though Khushbu Sundar had personally invited him.
Last month, Khushbu visited her “thambi” (younger brother) Vijay’s house to extend the invitation. She posted pictures of the meeting on social media, where her daughters Avantika, Anandita, and future son-in-law Shravan Sreenivasan were seen with the Chief Minister.
“A truly special and memorable day for our family as we met my dearest brother, our Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri @actorvijay avl, at his residence and extended the invitation for our daughter’s wedding with Shri Shravan Sreenivasan,” Khushbu wrote.
She added, “Seeing him always fills our hearts with pride and happiness. The children were absolutely thrilled and couldn’t take their eyes off him. Despite his demanding schedule, he welcomed us with the same warmth, affection, and beautiful smile that we have always cherished.”
Khushbu Sundar’s Emotional Moment at Daughter’s Wedding
Khushbu Sundar and Sundar C’s elder daughter, Avantika Sundar, married Shravan Sreenivasan in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and close friends.
A video from the wedding showed Khushbu getting emotional during the rituals. She was seen lighting the traditional lamp and praying during the ceremony. As Shravan tied the thaali (mangalsutra) around Avantika’s neck, Khushbu broke down in tears of joy. She held her husband Sundar C close while watching their daughter begin a new chapter.
Their younger daughter, Anandita, was also seen wiping away tears of joy during the ceremony. The family included their pet in the intimate celebrations.
Sharing the first pictures from the wedding, Khushbu wrote about the overwhelming emotions of seeing her daughter get married.
“We are truly speechless at this moment, for words seem inadequate to express the emotions we are experiencing. As parents, family has always been at the heart of everything we cherish, and we have always believed that marriages are made in heaven,” she wrote.
She added that it was a small and intimate celebration, exactly as the couple envisioned. The family was honoured to fulfill their wishes.
