The Story of The Witch

Now a successful data analyst, Dong-jin remembers the tragedies surrounding Mi-jeong and decides to investigate the truth behind the supposed curse. Mi-jeong, burdened by guilt and fear, is hesitant to trust Dong-jin. However, his persistence rekindles her desire for a normal life. As Dong-jin investigates the accidents linked to her past, he puts himself at risk to find a logical explanation. The drama explores their journey to uncover the truth and find hope, exploring themes of love, resilience, and the conflict between superstition and reason. Mi-jeong must decide if she can trust herself again, while Dong-jin confronts the potential sacrifices he will have to make.

The Teaser Breakdown

A voiceover mentions the rumors of Mi-jeong being called a “witch.” The teaser shows scenes of a male student being struck by lightning, fueling the rumors. Years later, Dong-jin hears the name “Mi-jeong” again. A man confesses his feelings to a woman, who is revealed to be Mi-jeong. Shortly after, the man collapses. Mi-jeong leaves the scene, followed by Dong-jin. The teaser ends with Dong-jin asking someone if they believe in witches.
