He is determined to build a better future for his teenage son and turn the island into a place tourists want to visit. His plans work, and tourists start to arrive. Unfortunately, the locals were right about the curse. After many quiet years, strange and frightening events from old stories begin to happen again. The show is described as a mix of real horror and character-focused comedy.

New episodes will then be released weekly every Wednesday. The season finale of the ten-episode series is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
Filming for the show took place in New England in 2025. Specific locations included Worcester, Essex, Gloucester, and Rockport in Massachusetts.
