The Spring 2026 fantasy series from Bug Films has drawn attention for its beautiful animation and storytelling. But eagle-eared viewers quickly spotted that several voice actors from Jujutsu Kaisen are also part of this magical world. From the strongest sorcerer to the most terrifying curse, these familiar voices connect two very different shows.

Satoru Gojo and Olruggio Share the Same Voice

Yuichi Nakamura voices Olruggio in the Japanese version of Witch Hat Atelier. He is the same actor behind Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen. Olruggio serves as the Watchful Eye at Qifrey’s atelier. He appears strict at first but has a caring nature and has been Qifrey’s best friend since childhood.

The English dub creates another connection. Kaiji Tang, who voices Gojo in English, also plays Olruggio. Tang is well known for his role as Ichiban in the Like a Dragon series and Osamu Dazai in Bungo Stray Dogs. While Gojo is flashy and confident, Olruggio is calmer and more grounded. Both actors bring a commanding presence to the character.

Ryomen Sukuna’s Actor Takes on a Knight Moralis

Junichi Suwabe, the Japanese voice of Ryomen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen, joins Witch Hat Atelier as Easthies. Sukuna is the King of Curses and one of anime’s most terrifying villains. Easthies appears as a member of the Knights Moralis in the seventh episode. These knights act as guardians who enforce magic rules and punish witches who break them.

The English side also lines up perfectly. Sean Letourneau voices Sukuna in English and also takes on the role of Easthies. While Sukuna sounds arrogant and monstrous, Letourneau changes his performance for Easthies, making him feel strict and powerful rather than evil.

Coco and Yuki Tsukumo Connected Through English Voice

Anjali Kunapaneni voices the main character Coco in the English dub of Witch Hat Atelier. Jujutsu Kaisen fans know her as the voice of Yuki Tsukumo, a special grade sorcerer. The two characters could not be more different. Yuki is loud, confident, and fearless. Coco begins as a gentle, curious girl who dreams of becoming a witch. She helps her mother in a tailor’s shop before discovering the secrets of magic. Kunapaneni changes her vocal style completely to capture Coco’s innocence and emotional growth.

Mahito’s Voice Actor Voices an Adorable Creature

One of the strangest casting connections involves Misaki Kuno. She voices Brushbuddy in Witch Hat Atelier and also voices Mahito in Jujutsu Kaisen. Mahito is a patchwork special grade cursed spirit who transforms his body and terrifies viewers. Brushbuddy is a small creature with brush-like fur that loves the scent of magic ink and becomes attached to Coco and her friends. Hearing the same actor play such opposite roles shows the incredible range of voice actors.

Riko Amanai and Luluci Share a Voice

Yui Ishikawa brings her talent to Luluci in Witch Hat Atelier. Jujutsu Kaisen fans remember her as Riko Amanai, a character who appears briefly but leaves a strong emotional impact. Ishikawa is also famous for voicing Mikasa Ackerman in Attack on Titan and Violet in Violet Evergarden. She brings the same warmth and expressiveness to Luluci, making the character memorable even in a fantasy world that relies on heartfelt interactions.

Mai Zen’in and Alaria Both Voiced by Marina Inoue

Marina Inoue voices Alaria in Witch Hat Atelier and Mai Zen’in in Jujutsu Kaisen. Mai is sarcastic and keeps her guard up at all times. She is Maki Zen’in’s younger twin sister who resents her sibling for leaving their clan. Alaria is calmer and more elegant, serving as Qifrey’s acquaintance and sometimes proctoring magic exams. Inoue’s ability to shift between such different personalities highlights her versatility as a voice actress.
