The true-crime docuseries Worst Ex Ever is coming back for a second season on Netflix. The streaming platform will release the new episodes on May 6, 2026.
The show comes from Blumhouse Television and ITV America, the same team behind the popular series Worst Roommate Ever. The first season of Worst Ex Ever launched in August 2024. Now, nearly two years later, viewers will get four new stories about relationships that turned violent and dangerous.
New Episodes Feature Wade Wilson and a ‘90 Day Fiancé’ Star
The upcoming season will look into four new cases, each getting its own hour-long episode. The trailer has already revealed two of the main subjects.
Wade Wilson, also known as the “Handsome Devil Killer,” is one of the cases featured this season. Wilson is a convicted murderer from Florida. The show will also cover Geoffrey Paschel, a former cast member of the reality TV series 90 Day Fiancé. Paschel was convicted for kidnapping and domestic assault.
The official description from Netflix says the new season will include “gripping testimonials, startling bodycam footage, and vivid animated reenactments.” These elements will help tell the stories of betrayal, violence, and lies that happened after these relationships ended.
The series does not use actors to recreate the crimes. Instead, it relies on real interviews with people who lived through these situations, along with actual police recordings.
What to Expect From Season 2
The show is a spin-off of Worst Roommate Ever, which has two seasons on Netflix. Worst Ex Ever focuses specifically on romantic partners who became dangerous after a breakup.
Cynthia Childs returns as the director for the second season. She also serves as an executive producer alongside Jason Blum, the founder of Blumhouse Productions, as well as Gretchen Palek and Jordana Hochman. Natalee Watts joins the team as co-executive producer.
The first season featured the stories of Benjamin Foster, Jerry Ramrattan, Rosa Hill, and Kevin Lewis. Each episode showed how seemingly normal relationships turned into nightmares involving physical attacks and worse.
Season 2 will follow the same pattern. Viewers will hear directly from people who survived these situations, as well as family members of victims and the investigators who worked on the cases.

All four episodes of Worst Ex Ever Season 2 will be available to stream starting May 6, 2026, only on Netflix.
For viewers in the USA, the episodes will drop at 12:00 AM Pacific Time / 3:00 AM Eastern Time. In the UK, that means around 8:00 AM BST. For Australia, it will be available in the afternoon of May 6 (AEST). In India, the release time will be approximately 12:30 PM IST. Canadian viewers can watch at the same time as the US Eastern time zone.
The show’s return is part of Netflix’s weekly release schedule. Other titles coming to the platform that week include Countdown: Rousey vs. Carano and Love is Blind: Poland.

The series is directed by Cynthia Childs and produced by Blumhouse Productions and ITV America. Each of the four episodes runs for 60 minutes.
