Ryan Weathers married Thayer Hall on November 6, 2022. The wedding took place at Howe Farms Wedding and Event Venue in Georgetown, Tennessee. Family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple’s special day.
The couple’s story goes back further than 2020. As their wedding website on The Knot shared, Ryan and Thayer first learned about each other in 2018. The New York Yankees officially placed Ryan Weathers on the paternity list on April 22, 2026. The team recalled right-handed reliever Jake Bird from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to fill the roster spot.
Weathers was not scheduled to pitch during the Yankees’ series against the Boston Red Sox. His next start is expected to come on Saturday, April 26, 2026, against the Houston Astros. If he uses all three days of paternity leave, he should return in time for that game.
Before leaving for paternity leave, Weathers had been performing well for the Yankees. He owns a 3.18 ERA with 36 strikeouts and only eight walks in 28.1 innings across five starts.
