The episode ended on a major cliffhanger. Inmei absorbed the final crystal and achieved his ultimate form, cutting short the reunion between Gai and Sagume. Gai remembered his origins and his mother’s love, equipping the Shield of Supremacy for the battles ahead. The stakes were raised significantly as the heroes prepared for their final showdown.

Episode 12 is titled “Gai.” The official synopsis reveals that Ramaga has achieved his true form as the Supreme Emperor through all the secret arts. The episode will feature the voices of encouragement from the human world reaching Gai and his friends, along with the thoughts of Ryo and the other original Samurai Troopers. The Ten Braves will also join the fray.

Episode 12 Is the Season Finale
This episode marks the conclusion of the anime’s first season. The series was produced as a split-cour run with 24 episodes in total. The first cour aired from January 6 to March 24, 2026, and the second cour ran from July 7 to September 22, 2026.
The finale will resolve the current storyline involving Ramaga and set up potential future developments. The production team has released special “THANKS” illustrations leading up to the final episode, featuring the Ten Braves, the Samurai Troopers in happi coats, and Byakuen.

Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers is the first new TV anime in the franchise in 37 years. The original series aired from April 1988 to March 1989. An OVA titled “Yoroiden Samurai Troopers MESSAGE” was released in 1991.
The sequel is set in present-day Shinjuku and follows a new generation of heroes. The story is entirely original and does not adapt any existing manga or novels.
