What Happened So Far
The story centers on Suzuki, a cheerful and outgoing high school girl who is always trying to fit in with those around her. She develops feelings for her classmate Yusuke Tani, a quiet and stoic boy who does not seem to care what others think of him . The central question of the series is whether Suzuki can overcome her anxieties and ask him out, or if she will discover that opposites really do not attract.
The early episodes followed Suzuki working up the courage to confess her feelings. Episode 2 showed Tani reciprocating those feelings, though he remained unaware that Suzuki’s friends knew about her crush before he did . Episode 3 explored the dynamic of perception, with Suzuki talking about her attraction to “bad boys” while Tani wondered what it means to be constantly called “sweet” by others.
Episode 4 took the characters to a summer festival, giving them a classic romantic setting to grow closer. Episode 5 shifted focus somewhat, showing Yamada thinking about a girl from the neighboring class while others dreamed about summer vacation .
A preview for Episode 8 was released on February 23, giving fans a glimpse of what is coming next .
