The ‘Tulsa King’ and ‘Perfect Couple’ actor joins the upcoming Fox spy thriller as a series regular. He will play Louis, a key member of an elite interrogation team led by Stephen Fry’s character, Conrad Henry.
Fox is building out the cast for its new drama The Interrogator, and a familiar face is joining the team. Michael Beach, known for his roles in Tulsa King and The Perfect Couple, has signed on as a series regular for the upcoming show.
The series received a straight-to-order order for 12 episodes from Lionsgate Television and Fox Entertainment Studios. It is scheduled to air during the 2026-27 broadcast season. The show follows a former MI6 agent who uses unusual techniques to get information from criminals.
Michael Beach’s Role: Louis, The Jack-Of-All-Trades
Michael Beach will play Louis, who is described as the first member of Conrad Henry’s team. Louis is not just an ordinary support staff member. He is the team’s AV and IT expert. He provides Henry with facts and figures in real-time during operations.
The character is a true jack-of-all-trades. Official descriptions state that Louis is great with electronics and explosives. He can even fix plumbing problems. He also acts as Henry’s best friend and moral guide.

There is a deep history between Louis and Henry. Reports indicate that Louis is Henry’s “father-confessor” and “moral touchstone.” The two men share a bond because they saved each other in the past.
Stephen Fry Leads The Interrogator as Conrad Henry
The Interrogator centers on Conrad Henry, played by Stephen Fry. Henry is a former MI6 agent who leads an elite team. When regular police methods do not work, the team steps in.
Henry uses his “quirky charm” and “mind-bending behavioral maneuvers” to break into the minds of dangerous criminals. His methods are unusual but effective. Louis serves as the voice in Henry’s ear during these high-pressure situations. He balances Henry’s intense focus with facts and moral support.
The pilot script was written by Fry himself. Matt Pyken and William Harper later worked on revisions. Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie will serve as executive producers and showrunners. Paul McGuigan is also an executive producer and will direct.
Where You Have Seen Michael Beach Before
Fans will recognize Michael Beach from several recent hit shows. He recently played Police Chief Dan Carter in Netflix’s limited series The Perfect Couple. He also reprises his role as Mark Mitchell on Paramount+’s Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone.
Beach also has a role on Mayor of Kingstown with Jeremy Renner. His other credits include The Dead Boy Detectives on Netflix and Truth Be Told on Apple TV+.
Luke Kleintank, known for FBI: International, has also joined the cast of The Interrogator. He will play a character named Voss.
The Interrogator does not have a specific premiere date yet. The show is expected to arrive on Fox during the 2026-27 season.
