BLACKPINK member Jennie continues to prove her power as a global solo artist. Her collaboration with Tame Impala, “Dracula,” has entered the top 10 of Billboard’s Songs of the Summer chart. At the same time, her new single “Less Than a Lover” has made its first appearance on the Billboard Global 200.
The numbers show Jennie is having one of the biggest summers of any K-pop solo artist. “Dracula” keeps climbing on multiple Billboard charts while her fresh summer track is already gaining attention worldwide.
Dracula Reaches New Peak on Summer Songs Chart
Billboard revealed on August 4 that Jennie and Tame Impala’s remix of “Dracula” moved up to No. 10 on the Songs of the Summer chart. This marks the first time the song has broken into the top 10 on this specific chart. The track is now in its 10th consecutive week on the summer rankings.
The song’s performance on other Billboard charts remains just as strong. “Dracula” continues to hold the No. 1 spot on five different Billboard charts this week:
- Pop Airplay chart
- Adult Pop Airplay chart
- Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart
- Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart
- Dance Streaming Songs chart
The track also kept its No. 2 position on the Radio Songs chart and stayed steady at No. 6 on the Hot 100. This is the main singles chart that ranks the most popular songs across the United States.
“Dracula” originally came out as a solo track by Tame Impala in October last year. The remix featuring Jennie dropped in February this year. Jennie contributed to both the songwriting and composition, helping the track gain new life and reach the Hot 100. Her name was added to the song’s credits starting in April.
The song has already made history earlier this summer. It reached a new peak of No. 5 on the Hot 100 on July 13. This made Jennie only the second female K-pop artist ever to enter the top five of the Hot 100. Her BLACKPINK bandmate Rosé was the first, reaching No. 3 last year with “APT.” featuring Bruno Mars.
“Dracula” also hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart dated July 11. This was a first for both Jennie and Tame Impala.
Less Than a Lover Makes Strong Global Debut
While “Dracula” keeps breaking records, Jennie’s new single “Less Than a Lover” is also making waves. The song made its debut on Billboard’s global charts this week.
“Less Than a Lover” entered at No. 11 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 26 on the Global 200. It also appeared on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart at No. 7. The song officially dropped on July 24 at 1 p.m. KST.
Jennie wrote the lyrics and took part in the composition of “Less Than a Lover”. She also directed the music video herself. The song is an alternative pop track with lo-fi guitar sounds and vintage electric keyboards. It captures the feelings of a relationship that sits somewhere between lovers and friends.
The new single has been performing well on streaming platforms around the world. The music video reached No. 1 on YouTube’s Trending Worldwide chart. It also topped the trending charts in both South Korea and the United States.
In China, “Less Than a Lover” hit No. 1 on all three major music platforms: QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music, and Kugou Music. It became the only female solo single released this year to earn a gold certification on QQ Music. The song also reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in 27 countries and regions.
The release came after Jennie performed the song live at several major music festivals. She first previewed it at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York in June. She then took it to Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Open’er Festival in Poland, and Mad Cool Festival in Spain. Fans who saw these performances shared clips online, creating strong demand for the official release.
At the Open’er Festival on July 4, Jennie headlined the final night with a 17-track set. She told the crowd:
“It feels really special to share new music with this many people. I really can’t wait to share this new music with you soon.”
She described “Less Than a Lover” as a song she wrote thinking about summer.

“Dracula” also climbed back up to No. 5 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart this week. It held onto its No. 7 position on the Global 200.
Jennie rose to No. 54 on Billboard’s Artist 100 chart. This marks her 21st overall week on the chart as a solo artist.
Her debut solo album Ruby, released in March 2025, entered the Billboard 200 at No. 7. The album has surpassed 3 billion streams on Spotify. It produced five Hot 100 entries, making Jennie the first female K-pop solo artist to place three songs on the chart at the same time.
Jennie has now logged six total Hot 100 entries as a soloist, the most of any female K-pop solo act. She has performed at major festivals including Lollapalooza Chicago. She is also scheduled to perform at Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan.
The success of both songs shows Jennie’s ability to connect with listeners across different styles. “Dracula” continues to dominate radio and streaming. “Less Than a Lover” is building its own path as a summer anthem.
