Boone Shares Emotional Message to Sacramento Fans

“Sacramento, I’m so so sorry but I am not going to be able to perform tonight. I’ve been fighting like hell all afternoon to try and make my voice presentable for the show tonight and it’s not in a place to do so.”
Boone also acknowledged how hard the news was for everyone who made the trip to see him.
“I know this is extremely disappointing especially for everyone who traveled to be here. Trust me I am disappointed too. I hate letting you guys down more than anything.”
He promised that the show would be rescheduled as soon as possible and told fans he would see them soon. The venue also shared a statement on social media, letting ticket holders know that updates about the new date would come later.
Sacramento Show Called Off Less Than an Hour Before Start

His next scheduled performances are two back-to-back shows in Los Angeles on August 10 and 11 at the Crypto.com Arena. The tour is set to wrap up on September 3 in Casper, Wyoming.

This is not the first time Benson Boone has had to cancel a concert because of voice problems. In November 2025, he canceled a sold-out show in Birmingham, England, under similar circumstances. At that time, he told fans he had “tried everything” to get his voice back before the performance.
