The psychological crime thriller Come With Me, starring Theo Rossi and Ron Perlman, has been acquired by Vertical Entertainment for North American distribution. The film also released its first official trailer, giving audiences a look at the intense story.
Come With Me will arrive in select theaters on September 4, 2026. The announcement came from Firebook Entertainment, which handles worldwide sales for the film.
Theo Rossi and Ron Perlman Reunite for Gritty Thriller
Theo Rossi and Ron Perlman previously worked together on the hit series Sons of Anarchy. They now reunite for this dark psychological thriller. Rossi plays the lead role of Simon Ward, a working-class man whose life falls apart after a series of terrible events. Perlman plays Dalton Kirby, a sharp-tongued radio host whose words push Simon toward violence.
Director Aaron Harvey wrote the script with Jonathan Croom. Harvey is known for his work in the independent thriller space. The film also features a strong supporting cast including Kate French, Chris Mullinax, Ronnie Gene Blevins, Jay Huguley, Marion Kerr, Michael Sirow, and Barron Boedecker.
What ‘Come With Me’ Is About
The story follows Simon Ward (Theo Rossi), a regular working man whose world collapses after three major tragedies. A traumatic home invasion leaves him shaken. Problems at work keep piling up. Then his best friend dies suddenly.
With no support system left, Simon starts listening to Dalton Kirby (Ron Perlman), a radio host who uses strong words and extreme ideas. Kirby’s messages resonate with Simon’s anger and pain. The radio host’s influence pushes Simon toward a violent path as he tries to fix what he sees as unfairness in his life.
Director Aaron Harvey explained the film’s deeper meaning:
“Come With Me is a film about perception and paranoia, and it couldn’t be more relevant than in our current, content-laden landscape, where what we ingest creates and molds the person we become, for good or bad. To see Theo Rossi portray this struggle in such an incredible and intense way was a pleasure to have created with him, and we wanted to make a genuine reflection of how damaging rhetoric can be when fed into a susceptible mind.”
Vertical Entertainment Acquires Distribution Rights
Vertical Entertainment secured the North American rights to Come With Me. The deal was made by John Moss, CEO and owner of Firebook Entertainment.
Moss shared his excitement about the partnership:
“Vertical is the perfect home for this film. Theo Rossi delivers a performance that audiences will remember, and we can’t wait for them to experience it. This is a massive win for Aaron, producer Demetrius Stear, and everyone who committed to bringing this film to life.”
The film was produced by Demetrius Stear, Colin Bates, Kevin Greene, and Nicholas Carmona. Principal photography recently wrapped in Mississippi.
First Trailer Gives Look at Intense Story
The first official trailer for Come With Me debuted exclusively through The Hollywood Reporter. The trailer shows Rossi and Perlman in tense scenes that build up the film’s dark mood.
An earlier teaser trailer had already given fans a small taste of the film back in April 2026. The new full trailer provides a better look at the story and the growing tension between the characters.
The film had its world premiere at the Beverly Hills Film Festival on April 18, 2026, where it played on the closing night.
Theo Rossi’s Busy Year
Theo Rossi is having a very active year with multiple projects. Besides Come With Me, he also stars in Bruton, a crime biopic directed by Vincent Grashaw that premiered at the Locarno Film Festival. He also appears in The Saviors opposite Adam Scott, directed by Kevin Hamedani, which is set for release on March 26, 2027.
Rossi also serves as an executive producer on Come With Me. His performance in the film has already earned praise from those who have seen it.
