Diljit Dosanjh has hinted that he may appear on the final season of Koffee With Karan. During an Instagram Live session on Sunday, the singer-actor told fans he has agreed to an interview offer and that it will be his only interview of the year. The comment quickly led fans to speculate that he will return to Karan Johar‘s talk show for its ninth and last season.
What Diljit Said During the Instagram Live
Diljit did not name the show directly, but his description of the offer strongly pointed toward the chat show. He explained that the show is wrapping up its run for the year and that he felt he should agree to it.
“I have received an offer for an interview. I can do that one. They said it is their last show for this year. I mean, on this topic, I am supposed to do it. It is their last show, so I agreed to do it.”
He then added that fans would get a surprise and repeated that this would be his only interview appearance this year.
“So, you guys will get that surprise. I am only going to do one interview this year. Only that one this year.”
Koffee With Karan 9 Is the Final Season
Koffee With Karan Season 9 began streaming on October 14, 2026, on JioHotstar. The season marks the end of the long-running chat show, which first started in 2004. Karan Johar shared the announcement of the show’s conclusion on social media in September.
The premiere episode featured Salman Khan with a special appearance by Karisma Kapoor. The second episode saw Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna appear together as a married couple. The upcoming third episode will feature Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, with Arjun Kapoor joining for a special segment.
Diljit’s Previous Koffee Appearance
Diljit Dosanjh last appeared on Koffee With Karan Season 6 alongside rapper Badshah. That episode became memorable for Diljit openly discussing his social media crush on Kylie Jenner. The show even displayed screenshots of his comments and likes on her photos.
Fans Expect a Vicky Kaushal Pairing
Speculation about Diljit’s return has been building for weeks. Reports in September suggested that Vicky Kaushal and Diljit Dosanjh may appear together on the show. An exclusive report from Filmfare in October also claimed that the two actors would share the couch for the first time on the chat show.
Fans reacted to Diljit’s Instagram Live comments with guesses about his potential co-guest. One user commented, “He will come with Vicky Kaushal most probably.” Another wrote, “Your interviews are just amazing.”
No official confirmation has come from the show’s makers or from Diljit about the exact episode or the guest pairing.
