Park Bo Young stars in the new Korean drama Our Unwritten Seoul, playing twin sisters who swap lives. The show also features GOT7โs Jinyoung and Ryu Kyung Soo. It premieres today, May 24, 2025, on Netflix and tvN.
The series follows Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae, twins with opposite personalities. Mi Ji is a free-spirited former athlete, while Mi Rae is a disciplined office worker. After a twist of fate, they switch identities, leading to unexpected challenges.
Park Bo Young plays both twins and their swapped versions, totaling four roles. This is her first time taking on such a complex character. Her transformation includes a bold blonde look for Mi Ji.
Jinyoung plays Lee Ho Soo, a lawyer with a hidden past. Ryu Kyung Soo is Han Se Jin, a former hedge fund manager turned farmer. The drama explores themes of identity, love, and second chances.
“I wrote this story for people who seem fine but are struggling inside,” said writer Lee Kang. “What if someone who looks like you could take over your life? Would it be easier?”
The show is directed by Park Shin Woo, known for Itโs Okay to Not Be Okay. It will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM KST on tvN, with episodes also streaming on Netflix.
Fans are excited to see Park Bo Young in a new challenge. Social media buzz highlights her dual roles and chemistry with Jinyoung. The trailer has already gained millions of views.
Our Unwritten Seoul has 12 episodes, running until June 29, 2025. Early reviews praise its emotional depth and strong performances. The drama is produced by Studio Dragon and Monster Union.
Supporting cast includes Kim Sun Young as Jinyoungโs on-screen mother and Jang Young Nam as the twinsโ mother. The music is composed by Nam Hye Seung, adding to the emotional tone.
The series replaces Resident Playbook in tvNโs weekend slot. Its Korean title, Mijiui Seoul, means both “Mi Jiโs Seoul” and “Unknown Seoul.” This reflects the twinsโ journey into unfamiliar lives.
Park Bo Youngโs last drama was Melo Movie in February 2025. Jinyoung recently starred in The Witch, also released earlier this year. Both actors bring fresh energy to this project.
Viewers can watch the first two episodes today and tomorrow on Netflix. Subtitles will be available in multiple languages for global fans. The show is rated 13+ for its mature themes.
