A recent 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All episode turned into a real-life detective drama. Gino Palazzolo launched a ‘spy mission’ to prove his wife, Jasmine Pineda, was secretly involved with fellow cast member Matt Branisareanu. The plan involved a phone number and a series of unanswered calls, leading to a major confrontation and a surprising conclusion.
The Spy Mission Plan
The drama unfolded during the November 16, 2025 Tell-All for Season 9. Gino arrived prepared to present what he believed was concrete evidence of a secret relationship. He claimed to have a phone number from his own call logs that belonged to Matt, which he said showed that Jasmine and Matt were in contact months before she admitted to knowing him.
To test his theory, Gino recruited other cast members, including Elizabeth, Andrei, and Georgi, for a coordinated effort. With several cast members gathered around, Andrei placed the first call to the number Gino insisted was Matt’s. The call went straight to voicemail, with no one picking up on the other end. Elizabeth found this strange, reasoning that if it were truly Matt’s number, he would have answered and simply claimed it was a wrong number. The silence made the group suspicious.
Checking the Evidence
The mission then escalated. Elizabeth, along with Yara and Georgi, decided to go upstairs where Matt was socializing with other cast members. They found him acting completely normal, not on his phone. Elizabeth tried to casually ask if his phone had been ringing. Matt shrugged and said, “Nope.” His phone screen showed no missed calls or messages, confirming their ‘spy mission’ had found no proof.
The group returned downstairs to report their findings. Elizabeth later admitted in a confessional, “Our spy mission was a total bust. I mean, either Matt changed his phone number or Gino’s lying. I don’t know.” Despite the failed attempt, Andrei continued to call the number, with each attempt going to voicemail.
Gino’s Firm Belief
Confronted with the failed test, Gino did not back down from his original claim. Instead, he proposed a new theory: Matt must have changed his phone number specifically to hide the truth. In a confessional, Gino doubled down, stating his interpretation of the events.
“The fact that Matt changed his number, that just shows he’s guilty. You can’t even question it,” Gino said.
This incident is part of a larger conflict between Gino and Jasmine. Gino believes that Jasmine manipulated him into agreeing to an open marriage to cover up an existing relationship with Matt. He views the phone records he obtained as undeniable proof supporting his version of events.
Jasmine’s Denial
Jasmine has consistently and strongly denied all of Gino’s allegations. She has expressed deep hurt over being accused of something she insists never happened, especially since Gino is seeking a divorce based on these claims.
“What hurts me the most is the fact that he wants to divorce me for something that is not true,” Jasmine stated.
The failed attempt to verify Matt’s phone number has done little to resolve the underlying issue. While Gino sees the number change as confirmation of guilt, others are left questioning whether his initial information was ever accurate. The tension between the estranged couple remains high and unresolved.
