A new clip from Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 shows Bullseye using a very strange object to fight Matt Murdock. The scene comes from episode 4 titled “Gloves Off,” which drops on Disney+ today, April 7, 2026.
The fight between Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) has been building since the first season. Bullseye killed Foggy Nelson, Matt’s best friend, on orders from Vanessa Fisk. That loss still drives Matt’s anger. Now these two enemies are set to face each other again, and the weapon Bullseye picks is something you would not expect.
Bullseye Turns a Music CD Into a Deadly Weapon
The exclusive clip shows Bullseye reaching for a portable CD player. He pulls out the disc and throws it at Daredevil like a sharp blade. Matt dodges the first throw, catches it, and sends it right back. The CD sticks into a wall nearby.
The fight then turns into hand-to-hand combat. Bullseye grabs anything he can find to throw at Daredevil. But Matt gets the upper hand and starts landing heavy hits. At one point, Bullseye tells Matt, “I’m on your side.” But Matt is too angry to listen or does not trust him. Bullseye manages to throw one last object to distract Matt and runs away.
Charlie Cox Explains Matt’s Complicated Feelings About Bullseye
Charlie Cox talked about how Matt sees Bullseye in Season 2. He said the relationship between the two characters is very layered this time around.
“It’s a really complicated relationship. Wilson’s character this season is very confronting to Matt, who he is and what he represents and what he seems to be trying to do makes it much, much harder for Matt to out-and-out loathe him and hate him.”
The actor also praised the show’s writers for taking Bullseye in a surprising direction. He said it leads to some interesting conversations and unexpected moments between both men.
Why Bullseye Saved Daredevil Earlier This Season
The new rematch happens after Bullseye already saved Matt’s life. In the Season 2 premiere, the Anti-Vigilante Task Force (AVTF) had Matt cornered and ready to execute him. Someone killed all the officers from the shadows and left a knife with the words “you’re welcome” carved into it. The person who saved him was Bullseye.
This move confused many viewers. Bullseye killed Foggy. Now he is helping Matt. The reason comes down to Vanessa Fisk. She manipulated Bullseye into killing Foggy in Season 1. After realizing he was used, Bullseye turned against the Fisks. He and Matt now share a common enemy: Wilson Fisk, the Mayor of New York City.

Season 2 brings back Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones. A new trailer shows her looking very angry and also reveals that she now has a daughter. Jon Bernthal returns as Frank Castle in a special titled “The Punisher: One Last Kill,” which arrives on May 12, 2026.
The cast also includes Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, and Elden Henson returning as Foggy Nelson in flashback scenes. Newcomers this season include Matthew Lillard as Mr. Charles and Michael Gandolfini in an unknown role.
The third season of Daredevil: Born Again is already confirmed to be in the works.
