Don’t worry, it was soon returned to the owner. 😂
Actor Ji Chang Wook is going viral after “stealing” a fan’s notebook he autographed.
During an event for his new project, Ji Chang Wook went around the audience to interact with fans.
In a clip that has over 17,000 likes, the actor was filmed signing a notebook for a fan. Hilariously, instead of handing back the signed notebook as he was called to leave, he gave the pen to the fan and made his way to the front, holding the book.
The actor seemingly realized that he had taken the notebook but after calling out for the person to get it back, Ji Chang Wook realized that the owner of the signed book wasn’t in that theater.
Luckily, in the end, the OP shared the video showing that the fan got her signed notebook back as Ji Chang Wook had seemingly passed it onto someone who was able to get the prized possession back to the owner.
Of course, it wasn’t on purpose, but the journey from Ji Chang Wook taking the book to trying to find the owner before it was returned to the fan definitely took netizens on a huge journey.
Updated on September 6:
On the afternoon of September 5, KST, Ji Chang Wook’s agency uploaded an urgent notice to their official social media account, announcing that they were “looking for someone.”
In the post, fashioned after a real-life flyer, the agency mentioned that they were looking for the person whose notebook Ji Chang Wook mistakenly snatched away on August 7, asking for leads. They even hilariously apologized for not being able to recognize the person from their “outstretched hand.”
PS: Although the notebook has been returned to its owner, we apologize for not being able to find that outstretched hand.
