Hollywood star Amy Adams walked the red carpet for the Cape Fear premiere in Los Angeles on June 2, 2026, with her husband Darren Le Gallo and their 15-year-old daughter Aviana Olea Le Gallo. But instead of talking about Adams’ outfit, the internet lost its mind over something else. People could not stop pointing out how much Aviana looks like Scarlett Johansson.
Social Media Explodes Over the Resemblance
Fans quickly flooded social media with side-by-side comparisons. Many said Aviana looks exactly like a young Scarlett Johansson from her early 2000s movies like Lost in Translation and The Horse Whisperer. Same blonde hair. Same smile. Same overall look.
One user joked, “Did Amy Adams accidentally raise Scarlett Johansson’s twin?” Another wrote, “I had to zoom in. Three times. I’m still not convinced.” A third comment said, “That’s not Amy Adams’ daughter. That’s Scarlett Johansson time-traveling.”
On Entertainment Tonight’s Instagram post, fans kept sharing their surprise. One person commented, “Her daughter looks like Scarlett Johansson!!!!! โค๏ธ๐ฅ” Another added, “Oh my gosh, your daughter looks like Scarlett Johansson very beautiful. Congrats on the new show.” Someone else joked, “Does Amy Adams know she gave birth to Scarlett Johansson?”
Aviana’s Rare Public Appearance
Aviana was born in 2010 to Adams and Darren Le Gallo. The couple met in an acting class in 2001, got engaged in 2008, and married in 2015. Aviana has mostly stayed away from the public eye. She made a cameo in Disenchanted, the sequel to Adams’ 2007 Disney film Enchanted, playing a “Little Girl in Town Square.”
For the premiere, Aviana wore a light blue bandage dress with a deep V-neckline and white pointed-toe heels. Her strawberry-blonde hair was straight with a center part. Adams wore a white draped long-sleeved gown with black heels and a black clutch, her red hair in soft waves.
This marked the first time the whole family walked a red carpet together in two years. Aviana previously joined her mom at the Lacoste show during Paris Fashion Week in March 2026.
What ‘Cape Fear’ Is About
Cape Fear is a 10-episode psychological horror thriller series that premieres on Apple TV+ on June 5, 2026. The first two episodes drop on that date. New episodes come out every Friday through July 31, 2026.
The show follows happily married attorneys Anna Bowden (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson). A dangerous criminal named Max Cady (Javier Bardem), whom they helped put in prison, gets released and wants revenge.
The series is inspired by the 1991 Martin Scorsese movie of the same name, which was produced by Steven Spielberg. Spielberg and Scorsese both serve as executive producers on the TV version. Nick Antosca created the show and runs it. Morten Tyldum directed the pilot episode.
Other cast members include CCH Pounder, Joe Anders, Lily Collias, Jamie Hector, Malia Pyles, and Anna Baryshnikov.

Adams on Being a Mother
Adams has talked openly about raising Aviana. In a 2017 interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said, “I want [Aviana] to know that it is not just women that can soar, she can soar and she needs to find her own light. I know she is on that path. No light that shines on me creates a shadow for her to stand in.”
The name Aviana comes from Adams’ birthplace, Aviano, Italy. Adams shared on the Rachael Ray Show in 2010, “We had picked out a whole bunch of other names. But when she was born, we just kept calling her ‘Avi, Avi, Avi.’”
Adams also recalled that her daughter does not always love her mom wearing makeup. “She didn’t like me wearing makeup,” Adams told People.
