BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Park Jung Min‘s upcoming zombie drama, Newtopia, has released new stills that offer a glimpse into the character of Young Joo, played by Jisoo.
These stills showcase a range of emotions, from the vibrant college days of Young Joo, where she was the most popular girl on campus, to the terrifying reality of a zombie apocalypse. In one still, Jisoo is seen clutching a golf club, determined to fight her way through the chaos to reunite with her boyfriend, Jae Yoon (played by Park Jung Min), who is trapped inside an air defense unit.
The drama follows the story of a young couple whose lives are thrown into turmoil by a sudden zombie outbreak in Seoul. Park Jung Min portrays Jae Yoon, a soldier who finds himself caught in the midst of the attack. Despite facing challenges in his relationship with Young Joo before the outbreak, his only desire now is to survive and reunite with her.
Newtopia is set to premiere on February 7, 2025, on Coupang Play.
