UK audiences can watch it at 12:30 PM (British Summer Time). Indian viewers will get the episode around 5:00 PM (Indian Standard Time). Recap of Episode 5
Episode 5, which aired on April 8, 2026, moved the story deeper into the second-year arc. The episode focused on the new challenges facing Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and his classmates after they started their second year still placed in Class D.
The main threat of this season is a new student sent from the White Room, the secret facility where Ayanokoji was raised. The school chairman assigned this student specifically to target and expose Ayanokoji. Episode 5 showed the first real moves of this new antagonist as the second-year students went through their orientation exams.
The special exam in this season pairs first-year students with second-year students for a written test. Only the second-year students face expulsion if their team performs poorly. This rule puts Ayanokoji and his classmates in a dangerous position. Episode 5 built up the tension as the class had to figure out who among the new first-years could be trusted.
What to Expect in Episode 6
Episode 6 will continue the White Room plotline. The new assassin sent by Ayanokoji’s father is now inside the school and ready to make a direct move. The previous seasons showed how Ayanokoji always stays three steps ahead of everyone. But this enemy knows his past and his methods.
The episode will also show more of the special exam system for the second year. The pairing of first-years with second-years creates a lot of doubt. Ayanokoji must figure out which first-year students are real threats and which ones are just ordinary newcomers.
New characters introduced this season include Tsubasa Nanase (voiced by Minako Satō), Kazuomi Hōsen (voiced by Hiroya Egashira), and Ichika Amasawa (voiced by Momoko Seto). These first-year students are all connected to the White Room plot in different ways. Episode 6 will likely show more of their real motives.
