The countdown to find the season’s top chef has reached its peak. With the grand prize of 300 million Korean won on the line, the final four chefs are ready for their last battles in Culinary Class Wars Season 2. Episodes 11 and 12 will be available to stream on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. These episodes will conclude the major team challenges and set the stage for the season finale the following week.
For viewers around the world, the new episodes will go live on Netflix at 5:00 PM Korea Standard Time (KST). This translates to 3:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) and 12:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) in the United States. In other major regions, the release time will be 8:00 AM Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in the UK and 7:00 PM Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT). Each episode is expected to run for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, consistent with the rest of the season.
The Culinary Competition Heats Up
These episodes are the final batch before the season finale. The competition structure has been intense, with veteran White Spoon chefs facing off against up-and-coming Black Spoon chefs. This season introduced two Hidden White Spoonsโfan favorites from Season 1 who returned for a second chance.
The battle has unfolded through several grueling stages. After initial individual duels, the chefs entered a high-stakes team challenge. In a dramatic twist, a panel of judges composed of standout contestants from Season 1, including winner Napoli Matfia, was brought in to vote. One recent team challenge came down to a razor-thin margin, with the White Spoon chefs leading by just 6 points before the final judge’s vote was revealed.

The competition is overseen by two of South Korea’s most respected culinary figures. Judge Paik Jong-won is a celebrated restaurateur and television personality with a vast food empire. His co-judge, Ahn Sung-jae, is the chef-owner of Mosu, the only restaurant in South Korea to hold three Michelin stars. Their expertise sets the highest possible standard for the contestants.
The White Spoon team this season is a collection of culinary legends. The lineup includes chefs with decades of experience and multiple Michelin stars. Notable veterans include:
- Lee Jun, chef-owner of the two-Michelin-star restaurant Soignรฉ.
- Hou Deok-juk, a master of Chinese cuisine with 57 years of experience, referred to on the show as a “legend of Korean culinary history”.
- Park Hyo-nam, a pioneer of French cuisine in Korea with over 47 years in the industry.
- Son Jong-won, the only chef in South Korea to simultaneously operate two one-Michelin-star restaurants.
- Jennie Walldรฉn, a Korean-Swedish chef who won MasterChef Sweden and now runs several acclaimed restaurants.
Standout Black Spoon Chefs and Where to Watch
While the White Spoons use their real names, the Black Spoon chefs compete under creative nicknames, only revealed if they win the entire competition. Several have made a strong impression this season. Chef Culinary Monster, Chef Barbeque Lab Director, and Chef Knife Omakase distinguished themselves as powerful contenders during the team challenges. Other notable Black Spoons include Chef Rebellious Genius, who defeated two-Michelin-star chef Lee Jun in a blind tasting, and Chef Seoul Mother.
All episodes of Culinary Class Wars are available exclusively on Netflix. The show offers multiple subtitle languages for its global audience. The series has been a major success for Netflix, becoming the first Korean unscripted show to rank number one on its Global Top 10 non-English TV list for three consecutive weeks.
Culinary Class Wars Season 2 will conclude with its 13th and final episode on January 13, 2026, where the ultimate winner will be crowned.
