The story focused on Kaoru Misogiya, who slipped away from his school’s culture festival to organize a private mountain festival just for Dara-san. Kaoru asked Dara-san to take the form of a grade-schooler and dressed her in a maid outfit. Together, they served coffee and curry in a small, handmade festival.
The Christmas-themed segment showed Dara-san visiting Kaoru’s room and finding him wrapped up in ribbons. Kaoru was sleeping with a Dara hug pillow wearing a very different outfit from the standard version. Kaoru hilariously drifted in and out of sleep while talking with Dara-san and asking for a hand-forged letter opener after Hinata received one.
The episode also explored Dara-san’s past. A flashback revealed the name of Kanju’s disciple, Nagi, who passed away. This segment connected to Dara-san’s earlier life and the promise she made to protect Chiyo’s bloodline.
