The episode takes an unexpected turn when Hinata and Kaoru show no fear of the supernatural being. Instead of running away, the siblings affectionately call her “Dara-san” and begin to form an unlikely friendship with her.

The main voice cast members appeared on stage for a talk show. They discussed the challenges of recording the series, particularly the Kansai dialect used by some characters. Momoka Terasawa mentioned focusing so much on speaking the Kansai dialect properly that it sometimes affected the flow of dialogue. Minami Tsuda noted the difficulty of thinking about intonation while reading the script.
Official cosplayer Kei Fubuki also appeared at the event, dressed in Dara-san’s shrine maiden outfit. Fubuki, who is from Osaka, jokingly said she would check the dialect accuracy when the series broadcasts, which made the cast members react with mock fear.
Music and Theme Songs
The series features two theme songs that complement its unique tone:
The opening theme is “Dara Dara♡Dancing”, performed by the main cast members—Mutsumi Tamura, Minami Tsuda, Momoka Terasawa, and Masaki Terasoma.
The ending theme is “Hinatabocchi”, performed by the musical project REIRIE. REIRIE is making their debut with this song. The title roughly translates to “in the sun” and carries meanings of both warmth and solitude.
A clean version of the ending sequence has been released, showing the warm daily life of Dara-san and the Misogiya siblings.
