Krysten Ritter just gave Marvel fans an early look at the new season of Daredevil by sharing part of the official trailer on her social media. The leaked clip shows her character, Jessica Jones, back in action and teaming up with Matt Murdock.
The trailer was first shown to attendees at New York Comic Con 2025 and was not yet released to the public. Ritter posted about 20 seconds of the fan-recorded trailer on her Instagram Stories, offering a exciting first glimpse of Jessica Jones’ return to the MCU.

The leaked footage begins with Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, laughing. The trailer then shows quick shots of Matt Murdock, Karen Page, and the villain Bullseye. Daredevil is also seen fighting enemies while wearing a new black suit.

In the clip, she is seen walking into what appears to be a church to meet Matt Murdock, hinting at a reunion after their time working together in the Defenders saga. Jones is wearing her classic outfit of jeans and a black leather jacket. In another scene, she is shown using her super strength to effortlessly throw an opponent and smack an enemy with a table.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 continues the story from the first season’s finale, where Wilson Fisk, as mayor of New York, declared martial law. Matt Murdock, presumed dead, is now returning to challenge Fisk’s control. He is building a team to take on the Kingpin and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force, and Jessica Jones will be a key part of that team.
The season will also feature the return of Foggy Nelson, played by Elden Henson. His character was killed in the first episode of Born Again‘s first season, so his return is a major point of interest for the story.
Matthew Lillard is joining the cast as Mr. Charles, a political figure who acts as an antagonist to Mayor Fisk. Brad Winderbaum, Head of Marvel TV, explained the season’s theme, stating, “The story is about power. When Wilson Fisk takes over New York, not just as a mayor but as a king in a way, it puts him in a new class of power players on the international stage. Matthew Lillard’s character represents that.”
The show’s lead, Charlie Cox, returns as Matt Murdock, alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk. The series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026.
