For All Mankind is heading toward the final stretch of its fifth season. Episode 8 will drop on Apple TV+ this Friday, May 15, 2026, leaving just two more episodes after that to wrap up the season on May 29.
The space drama has been rolling out weekly since late March, following the same pattern Apple uses for most of its original series. Episode 7 aired on May 8 and ended with Kelly Baldwin successfully landing Sojourner on Titan, Saturn’s largest moon. That victory came with a heavy cost back on Mars, where things turned violent.

What Happened in Episode 7
Episode 7, which aired on May 8, delivered two major storylines. The first was the successful landing of the Sojourner spacecraft on Titan, with Kelly Baldwin at the controls. After the competing Russian Cosmos-1 mission failed and burned up during its landing attempt, Sojourner’s crew pushed forward despite the risks.
The episode showed Aleida Rosales wanting to return to Earth after the mission commander decided to abort. But Kelly made a choice on her own, overriding the return-to-Mars plan and feeding in the original landing program instead. It worked, and the crew stepped onto Titan’s surface, looking up at what appeared to be clouds – a sign that there might be atmosphere and possibly life.
On Mars, Dev Ayesa ordered Palmer and his team to sabotage the agricultural domes at Happy Valley colony. The attack happened during a birthday surprise for Alex, leaving one teenager dead and several others wounded. With the remaining food supply expected to last only about two weeks, many colonists started demanding to return to Earth.
Back in the USSR, the struggling president blamed Governor Oleg for the Mars disaster and forced his wife to publicly denounce him on television. Irina Morozova told the governor ahead of time that this would happen, showing she still has intelligence sources even while locked up by the revolutionaries.
What to Expect in Episode 8
Connor Storrie, known for his role in Heated Rivalry, will appear in episode 8 playing a “Russian Spetsnaz Soldier.” His role is described as a one-scene, one-line part.
The episode will likely focus on how the Mars colony handles the food shortage caused by the sabotaged domes. With supplies running low and tensions rising, the revolutionaries may lose support from ordinary colonists who just want to survive.
Kelly’s successful Titan landing could also become a turning point. Miles had the idea to ask Aleida to broadcast the radio connection to Sojourner through the entire Mars settlement. That meant everyone on Mars – from different sides of the conflict – listened together as Sojourner attempted the landing. When it worked, the shared relief brought a rare moment of unity.
The discovery of possible signs of life on Titan could give Mars new leverage in negotiations with the M-6 nations back on Earth.
