G-Dragon recently shared a funny story about his initial meeting with Jo Se Ho, revealing a moment that differed greatly from Jo Se Ho’s own recollection. The story unfolded on the March 9th episode of MBC’s “Good Day,” and it involved a luxury brand store and a rookie G-Dragon.
A Memory Mismatch
The conversation started when Defconn inquired about the duo’s first encounter. Jo Se Ho stated that he met G-Dragon at a collaboration event. However, G-Dragon quickly corrected him, stating that his memory was different.
G-Dragon then shared his version of the story. “When I was still a rookie, I went to a luxury store with Taeyang. At the checkout counter, there was this guy holding four or five shopping bags,” he explained.
He continued, “Taeyang and I were looking at him, thinking, ‘Who is that?’ And it turned out to be ‘Cabbage’ (Yangbaechu).” This reference to Jo Se Ho’s past nickname caused everyone to burst into laughter.

Teasing and Clarification
G-Dragon clarified that he wasn’t referring to Jo Se Ho as he is now, but rather to his past persona, “Yangbaechu.” The other hosts, Defconn and Hong Jin Kyung, joined in the teasing.
They joked, “That’s the kind of store where even BIGBANG members get nervous,” and “What kind of life have you been living? You’re living way beyond your means!” These comments added to the comedic atmosphere of the story.
