The week of June 8 to 12, 2026, on General Hospital was filled with shocking twists, emotional goodbyes, and dangerous games. Jenz Sidwell found himself cornered but managed to slip away, Liesl Obrecht learned a devastating family secret, and Kristina Corinthos-Davis announced her departure from Port Charles.
Here is everything that happened on General Hospital this week.
Sidwellโs Plan Backfires, But He Escapes Justice
The coordinated effort to take down Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) finally came together. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) worked together on a risky operation designed to trap the villain once and for all. The plan put Lucas directly in Sidwell’s path, with Lucas wearing a bulletproof vest as part of the setup.
Sidwell took the bait and shot Lucas, believing that he had killed him. The shooting provided authorities with exactly what they needed to move in and make an arrest. Unfortunately for everyone in Port Charles, the victory was short-lived.
Before long, Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) stepped in and helped Sidwell escape custody, putting the dangerous fugitive back on the streets. Sidwell remains at large, leaving the residents of Port Charles still looking over their shoulders.
Cassius Confesses the Truth to Liesl
The most heartbreaking moment of the week came when โNathan Westโ finally revealed his true identity to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Cassius admitted that he was not Nathan after all, shattering her hopes that her son had somehow returned to save her.
The revelation forced Liesl to grieve Nathan all over again. She also had to process the fact that she had another son whom she had been told by her late sister, Madeline, had died at birth. In reality, Cesar Faison took Cassius as his own, raising him in secret.
Liesl learned that Madeline was present at the birth of her twin sons. Liesl woke up from an emergency caesarean to learn that one of her identical twin sons had been stillborn. In truth, Madeline had handed infant Cassius off to Faison. Somehow, Faison managed to raise Cassius without Liesl being any the wiser, while Madeline raised Nathan without Faison knowing.
Although Cassius seemed distant at first, he made it clear he would protect his mother with his life. Liesl promised to help with the cold fusion project to help save Cassius’ life.
Josslynโs Danger Escalates at Wyndemere
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) found herself in even greater danger beneath Wyndemere this week. After Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) dumped an unconscious Liesl in the room where they held Josslyn, the two became unlikely cellmates.
The situation took a darker turn when Cullum asserted control over the operation. His focus remained fixed on completing Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)โs cold fusion project, and anyone standing in the way became a problem. That put Joss directly in his crosshairs.
Cullum confronted Joss and made it clear he intended to eliminate her if she continued interfering. Joss refused to back down. Before the confrontation could turn deadly, Cassius stepped in and put himself between Cullum and Joss, once again risking everything to protect her. Liesl told Cullum that if he killed her son, she would be too distraught to work on the project.
Kristina Announces Medical School Plans and Says Goodbye
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) shocked her family this week by announcing she was heading to medical school in California. After spending months rebuilding her life following the loss of her surrogate baby, she revealed she had discovered a genuine passion for helping people while studying for the MCATs.
The news hit her family hard. Sonny and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) were proud, even if they struggled with the realization that their daughter was moving across the country. Kristina made it clear this decision belonged to her and nobody else.
By Friday, Kristina was saying her goodbyes to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson). In true Kristina fashion, she appointed herself a relationship counselor before boarding the plane. She insisted that Michael and Molly lean on each other while she was gone.
Carly Discovers Josslyn Is at Wyndemere
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) made a significant discovery this week while searching for answers about Josslynโs disappearance. During questioning at Wyndemere, a maid showed Cullum a ring that she found while cleaning. Carly recognized it immediately as Josslynโs.
The discovery confirmed Carlyโs worst fears. Carly picked up a letter opener and appeared ready to attack Cullum, but a security guard entered the room, prompting her to rethink her plan. Later, she rushed home and told Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) that the ring proved Joss was being held at Wyndemere. Although the property was crawling with WSB agents, Carly became more determined than ever to find a way to rescue her daughter.
Tracy and Willowโs Feud Escalates
The war between Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) somehow managed to get uglier this week. By Friday, their confrontation at the Quartermaine boathouse ended with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) telling Tracy she was under arrest for assault.
Tracy accused Willow of manipulating Chase, while Willow shot back that Tracyโs own children could not stand her. Willow screamed that Tracy was hurting her and hurled herself backward into the lake. Chase dove in to save her, and Willow played the victim to perfection, insisting Tracy pushed her.
Tracy declared, โShe jumped, and now sheโs going to play victim yet again.โ But Chase refused to listen and placed Tracy under arrest.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) began working to build a case against Willow by having Brick change Willowโs GPS data to show that she was at the exact spot of Curtis and Jordan Ashfordโs accident on that fateful night.
Jack Brennan Strikes a Deal With Willow
Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) stopped Willow from injecting him with the drug that paralyzed him. Jack claimed to have evidence that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) misappropriated funds from the McConkey Esplanade to finance his political campaign.
While Jack had yet to hand over the proof, the information gave Willow something she had lacked for months: leverage against her husband. Willow agreed to stop injecting Jack with the paralytic and team up with him and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to neutralize Drew after eventually releasing him from captivity.
Ava Finally Admits Carly Was Right
Ava Jerome (Maura West) finally admitted something that she probably hated saying: Carly was right. After spending months convincing herself that Sidwell was not as dangerous as everyone claimed, Ava finally acknowledged she had ignored every warning sign.
Over drinks with Nina, Ava admitted that she knew exactly what kind of man Sidwell was and pursued him anyway. She threw out the fact that Carly had been warning her until she was blue in the face. Nina was not interested in celebrating the breakthrough, though. Her concern was much more practical. Sidwell was desperate, cornered, and running out of options.
