What Happened in Episode 3
Episode 3, titled Tout est dans le regard (Everything is in the Look), aired on July 19, 2026. The episode showed Lara struggling to adjust to the modern world after Mari told her to stop following her around.
Lara felt lost and scared to go out without Mari as her guide. But she knew she had to find true love to save her family and kingdom. Her past trauma still haunted her—her first love had called her a monster and pointed a blade at her before she dissolved into sea foam.
Grace, the witch who now lives as a pet fish, suggested ways to manipulate humans. But Lara had already decided she would figure things out on her own. She did not want to cause more trouble for anyone.
The episode also gave viewers a deeper look at Mari’s backstory. Mari has always loved boxing. She used to get into fights as a child before discovering the sport. Her mother supported her decision to become a boxer, and Mari was very close to her. But watching her mother collapse during a competition still haunts her.
