Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3 Episode 11 has arrived, and it delivered exactly the kind of chaos fans expected. Titled “Okinawa Again (Front),” the episode aired on September 14, 2026, and finally gave Iori Kitahara and Chisa Kotegawa some proper alone time in Okinawa. Aina Yoshiwara, however, was not about to let that happen without a fight.

Aina tried everything to stop the trip. She begged Kohei Imamura for help, dragged other friends into her scheme, and even tried piling work on Iori so he could not leave. Nothing worked. The plan collapsed, and Aina ended up doing the only thing she could think of: following Iori and Chisa to Okinawa with Kohei in tow.

Why Aina Wanted to Stop the Trip

Aina’s feelings for Iori have been building for a while, and seeing him head to Okinawa alone with Chisa was too much for her to handle. She went to Kohei for help because he was the only one who figured out what was really going on.

Kohei, usually the most unpredictable member of the group, actually gave her sensible advice. He told Aina that if she did not want to see Iori spend time with other girls, she should just confess her feelings. Aina was not ready to take that risk.

The plan to stop the trip grew bigger and messier. Sakurako got involved and tried to bury Iori in work so he would miss the trip. Another member, Otoya, refused to sabotage Iori at all. Every attempt failed, and Iori boarded the plane with Chisa as planned.

Iori and Chisa Finally Enjoy Okinawa

With Aina and Kohei secretly trailing behind, Iori and Chisa had no idea what was happening. Their Okinawa trip turned out to be one of the calmest and most genuine stretches of the entire season.

They rented a car and explored the island together. The episode gave their relationship space to breathe, and it made a real difference. Instead of constant arguing or being surrounded by the usual diving club chaos, the two settled into a comfortable rhythm.

Beach scenes stood out, with Chisa wearing a swimsuit and even teaching Iori how to swim. A meal they shared became one of the episode’s most memorable moments, simply because of how natural and relaxed they were around each other.

The Awkward Hotel Room Situation

The evening took an unexpected turn when Iori and Chisa arrived at their hotel. A booking mix-up meant their room had only one double bed. The two had to share the space, and the awkwardness was immediate.

For a brief moment, the episode hinted at something more romantic. But Grand Blue Dreaming quickly snapped back to its trademark comedy, and the tension turned into the kind of ridiculous situation the series is known for.

Aina and Kohei Show Up at the Worst Time

The biggest surprise came at the very end of the episode. After Iori and Chisa’s peaceful day together, Aina and Kohei suddenly appeared, walking out of a hotel in the same area.

Aina had traveled all the way to Okinawa because she was worried about Iori and Chisa getting closer. Instead, her own actions with Kohei created an even more suspicious situation. Fans quickly picked up on the irony, with social media reactions calling out the classic Grand Blue messiness.

One fan post on X captured the mood of the episode perfectly, sharing a snapshot of Iori and Chisa’s date with the caption: “CHISE & IORI DATE ✨ They even share a hotel room”.
