The new season of Invincible is finally here, and the first three episodes dropped on Prime Video on March 18, 2026. Fans who waited patiently for the show’s return got a lot to process, especially with the third episode titled “I Gotta Get Some Air.” This episode brings back an old enemy and reveals a huge personal moment for Atom Eve that shifts everything for her and Mark Grayson.

The episode throws viewers right back into the chaos of Mark’s life. He is still dealing with the guilt of killing Livingston, the astronaut infected by the Sequids. While the Global Defense Agency and the Guardians of the Globe have mixed feelings about Mark’s quick decision to kill, the bigger picture shows that everyone is facing their own battles. From Rudy dealing with a hidden Sequid inside his own body to Titan fighting for his family’s safety, the episode packs in multiple storylines that all lead to one major revelation by the end.

The Flaxans Launch a Smarter Attack

The Flaxans make their return in this episode, and they are not messing around this time. These dimension-hopping aliens have tried to invade Earth before, and every time they failed because of their biggest weakness—time moves much faster in their dimension. When they come to Earth, they age rapidly unless they stay close to a special device that slows down their personal time.

This time, the Flaxans learned from past mistakes. They built an undetectable time dilation emitter and upgraded their mecha-suits to be strong enough to fight Mark. The invasion scene shows them grabbing humans and dragging them through the portal back to their home dimension. No one knows why they are taking people, but it cannot be good.

The Guardians of the Globe jump into action. Rudy, still shaken from discovering a Sequid trying to control him earlier in the episode, figures out that the time dilation emitter must be on the Flaxan home world. Against direct orders, he and Monster Girl go through the portal. Rudy destroys the device, which causes the Flaxan soldiers on Earth to start aging and dying rapidly.

But then things go wrong. Rudy sees the full scale of the Flaxan armada and refuses to leave until the job is completely finished. Before the other Guardians can join them, a Flaxan general closes the portal. Rudy and Monster Girl are now trapped in the Flaxan dimension with no clear way back home. The GDA has not figured out how to reopen a portal to that dimension, leaving their fate uncertain.

Oliver Takes On a Dangerous Assignment

While the Flaxan attack unfolds, another crisis is happening on the ground. Titan, the former villain who now runs the criminal underworld, is in serious trouble. Mr. Liu is alive and wants revenge. He sends Magnattack, a villain who controls metal, to kill Titan and his family during a peaceful day at the park. Titan barely survives and kills Magnattack in a rage.

Titan reaches out to Invincible Inc. , the superhero business Mark and Eve started. But Mark is busy with the Flaxan invasion, and Eve is dealing with her own personal crisis—her powers are not working right. So they send Oliver to handle the job.

Oliver is Mark’s younger half-brother, and he is growing up fast thanks to his Viltrumite and Thraxan hybrid biology. He meets up with Titan to attack Mr. Liu’s new hideout. But Liu has a surprise waiting—a giant dragon. Oliver tries his best, but the dragon is way too strong for him. He calls Eve for help, but she tells him to run away. Oliver refuses to give up and keeps fighting.

By the time Mark finishes dealing with the Flaxans and rushes to help, Oliver is badly wounded. Mark asks why he did not listen and leave. Oliver says he did not want to let Mark and Eve down when they were both struggling. The brothers team up and give the dragon a serious beating. Liu escapes with his bodyguard carrying him away, but Oliver survives the fight.

Mark is furious at Titan for putting his brother in danger. He beats Titan nearly to death and only stops because Oliver asks him to. This moment shows how close Mark is to the edge, struggling with the violence inside him.

Eve’s Failing Powers Lead to a Life-Changing Discovery

The biggest moment of the episode happens quietly, away from all the fighting. For a while now, Eve has been dealing with a scary problem—her powers are failing. She can create matter and reshape objects, but suddenly anything she makes turns to liquid and falls apart. She goes to a remote valley to test her powers privately, and nothing works right. This terrifies her because if she cannot use her powers, she becomes useless as a hero.

After Mark kills Livingston, he tries to call Eve to talk through his guilt. She does not pick up because she is too worried about her own situation. Later, while Mark is away fighting, Eve goes to Rudy for help. Rudy runs some scans but cannot figure out what is wrong. He says this is uncharted territory and he cannot promise any answers soon.

The episode’s final moments reveal the truth. Mark wakes up from a nightmare and goes to check on Eve in the bathroom. She locks the door and tells him she will be out soon. The camera then shows Eve sitting on the bathroom floor, holding a pregnancy test. The result is clearly positive.

Eve is pregnant with Mark’s child. This explains why her powers stopped working—her body is focusing all its energy on something new. In the comics, this leads to the birth of their daughter Terra Grayson, and the show seems to be following that path.

The post-credits scene for Episode 3 shows this moment in full. Mark had no idea what was happening, and Eve clearly needed a moment alone to process the news before telling him. This changes everything for the young couple who just started their superhero business and were trying to build a normal life.

The Bigger Picture Moving Forward

Episode 3 sets up multiple storylines that will play out over the rest of the season. Rudy and Monster Girl are stuck in the Flaxan dimension, and no one knows how to get them back. Mr. Liu is still out there with his dragon, and he will probably want revenge on Titan and the Graysons. Mark is dealing with his guilt and violence, worried he is becoming like his father. And now Eve has a baby on the way.

The show also continues its weekly release schedule. After dropping three episodes on March 18, new episodes arrive every Wednesday. Episode 4, titled “Hurm,” comes out on March 25, 2026. Viewers in the US can watch at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET. In the UK, that is 7 AM GMT, and in India, episodes arrive at 12:30 PM IST.

Prime Video is the only place to stream the show. The season has eight episodes total, with the finale scheduled for April 22, 2026.

Fans have waited a long time to see how the show adapts these key moments from the comics. Eve’s pregnancy is a huge deal for her character and for her relationship with Mark. It adds a new layer of stakes to every fight and every decision they make. They are no longer just a young couple trying to be heroes—they are about to become parents in a world full of supervillains, Viltrumite conquerors, and dimension-hopping aliens.
