Fans Take Up Seats, Block View, Get Kicked Out, Leading Idols to Leave Too
Netizens are criticizing the behavior of fans of the idol group TWS after they were asked to leave a recent baseball game in Incheon, South Korea.
According to reports, TWS members Shinyu and Dohoon were invited to be special guests at the game, with Shinyu throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and Dohoon taking part in a special batting event. However, their appearance was overshadowed by the actions of their fans.

Witness Accounts Detail Fan Disruption
Baseball fans who attended the game reported that TWS fans took up spots that were not in their designated seating area and stood up to take photos, blocking the view of other audience members. Despite warnings from fansite masters and security guards, the fans reportedly refused to listen and continued their disruptive behavior. This ultimately led to them being ejected from the arena, causing a significant commotion.
Social Media Reacts to Incident
The situation quickly gained traction on social media, with many netizens expressing their disapproval of the fans’ actions. One tweet, which garnered over 2.5 million views in less than a day, described the situation as “quite bad,” with fans getting kicked out and having their cameras confiscated.
- I saw a girl get her camera taken away in front of me… LEgendary.
- It’s the first time I’m seeing a fansite master get kicked out of the baseball area, not the first time it happened. They stood up and turned around with huge cameras throughout the match, blocking people’s views. They also did not stay in their area. Of course, when the regular audience members and baseball fans exploded, the security guards were dispatched. They didn’t listen to the guards, so staff from the baseball association were dispatched. Ultimately, the idols also concluded their viewing of the match and left, so it ended when the fans got kicked out together.
Reports Claim TWS Idols Left Early
Further reports allege that due to the commotion caused by their fans, TWS members were also forced to leave the stadium early. They had reportedly been given a skybox to enjoy the rest of the game from, but the situation made it impossible for them to do so.
Netizens Blast Fans for Inconsiderate Behavior
The online response to the incident has been overwhelmingly negative. Netizens have slammed the fans’ behavior as “ignorant” and a “nuisance.” Many expressed frustration that the idols’ experience was ruined by the actions of their fans.
- Ignorant.
- Nuisance.
- “The first meeting doesn’t go as planned…” It’s a pity for the idols.
- I was at the seats near the 3rd innings and they were really such nuisances. They got chased away when they tried taking pictures too near the idols, so they went back and forth from the tables to take photos instead. When we spoke up about how our views were blocked, they pretended to move but slowly creeped back to take photos LOL. The huge cameras went back and forth from the 1st and 3rd innings as they ran about. Sigh.
- All of the seating areas were sold out because it was the opening match, and I couldn’t go because there were no tickets. Why are they acting up LOL. Do they think they are the center of the universe? Only you know who your idols are. Why are you acting like they’re the main characters at a baseball match?
- Nuisance.
- I want to be biased against idol fans.
- They should call idols to guest during weekday matches with severe rain and yellow dust.
- Using flash at a baseball match f*ck LOL. Why are you coming to someone else’s turf and doing all the things you’re used to doing on your own turf?
- Just do the guest pitch and go.
Fan Behavior Raises Questions About Respect
The incident has sparked discussions about fan behavior and respect for others. Commenters questioned why fans would disrupt a public event for their own purposes and expressed a desire for stricter measures to be taken against such disruptive behavior.
