Rapper Lee Young Ji and actor Kim Woo Bin made surprise appearances on the January 30th broadcast of tvN’s “Green Bean, Red Bean,” adding to the fun and excitement at the cafeteria. Lee Young Ji joined the team as a part-time worker, while Kim Woo Bin made an unexpected visit, creating a buzz among the staff.
Lee Young Ji’s Part-Time Gig
Lee Young Ji’s journey to becoming a part-time cafeteria employee began during a meal at the cafeteria. D.O. and Lee Kwang Soo jokingly suggested she join their team. Lee Kwang Soo extended a playful offer:
“If you genuinely want to help, come by tomorrow at 11 AM. Think about it. If you don’t show up, that’s fine too. But if you do, you’ll be the team leader right away.”
Lee Young Ji accepted the challenge with enthusiasm, expressing her curiosity about the next day’s menu:
“Sounds good. I should come. I think I have to come. I’m curious about tomorrow’s menu.”
Kim Woo Bin’s Surprise Visit and Potato Gift
The following day, Kim Woo Bin arrived at the cafeteria before anyone else. He even surprised Do Kyung Soo who had arrived at 7:40 am by asking:
“Do you even know what time it is right now?”
He then jokingly suggested bringing potatoes as a gift for the 100 staff members on set.
“I think it’d be nice to take a few potatoes as a gift. Also, since I need to receive my appearance fee today and calculating it is a bit tricky, I’ll just take some potatoes instead,”
Do Kyung Soo who needed to use up the potato stock, welcomed the idea.
When Lee Kwang Soo finally arrived late, Kim Woo Bin teased him with a “Do you even know what time it is? It’s 8:02 AM.” Lee Kwang Soo responded nonchalantly, “Yeah, the boss is a bit late today.”
Do Kyung Soo later suggested giving the staff the leftover boiled potatoes from the previous day, which Lee Kwang Soo happily agreed with, asking:
“Who came up with this brilliant idea?”
Kim Woo Bin also joined Do Kyung Soo and Lee Kwang Soo in brainstorming menu names for the cafeteria and took commemorative photos with them.
