The Love Island USA Season 8 reunion special aired on August 31, 2026, bringing back all the Islanders to settle old arguments and give updates on their relationships. Hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, the reunion showed which couples made it outside the villa and which ones decided to go their separate ways.
The special featured the winners, finalists, and other fan-favorite Islanders from the season. While some couples are still going strong, others surprised everyone by announcing their breakups during the reunion.
Winners Trinity and Bryce Are Still Going Strong
Trinity Tatum and Bryce Alakai won Season 8 and took home the $100,000 prize. The couple became boyfriend and girlfriend during the show and have stayed together since leaving the villa.
During the reunion, Bryce shared that he has not spent a single night away from Trinity since the show ended. He said, “I love her so much and I know what she means to me and like, what I mean to her”.
The couple has been traveling between Virginia, Los Angeles, and New York. Trinity also mentioned that she plans to attend many of Bryce’s DJ shows. Their social media pages show them together often, and fans continue to support their relationship.
Aniya and Carl: Long Distance but Still Together
Aniya Harvey and Carl Schmidt finished as runners-up. Despite living in different states—Aniya in Georgia and Carl in Colorado—they are making their long-distance relationship work.
Aniya said during the reunion, “We talk to each other every day. FaceTime, text each other every day”. The couple is planning a trip to Nantucket, Massachusetts, to spend more time together.
They are taking things slow after the chaos of filming. Aniya explained, “We feel like we both need to calm down from the chaos, but we talk to each other every single day. Our families are really close with one another”.
Kayda and Zach Confirm Their Relationship
Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou finished in fourth place. They confirmed during the reunion that they are dating and consider themselves exclusive.
Kayda shared on TikTok on August 19 that they had officially become a couple. Zach has returned to the U.S., ending their long-distance period. The couple clarified that they do not use the terms girlfriend and boyfriend yet since they have not spent much time together outside the villa.
Kenzie and Dylan: From Villa to Real Life
Kenzie Annis and Dylan Wrona left the villa together shortly before the finale. Dylan asked Kenzie to be his girlfriend after the show, and they are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
During the reunion, Kenzie shared that she has already told Dylan she loves him. The couple seems to be building a strong connection outside the villa.
Melanie and Sincere: Dating Without Labels
Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea came in third place. The couple confirmed they are still together but are not officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
Melanie said during the reunion, “We’re kind of just seeing what happens in the outside world”. Sincere added that they are on the same page and taking things slow.
Sincere also apologized for hurting people during his time in the villa. Melanie admitted she is still working on trusting Sincere.
Titi and KC: Still Together Despite Backlash
Titi Davis and KC Chandler are still together, even with online backlash surrounding their relationship.
KC shared that he received death threats, racial slurs, and threats against his family after the show. He said the experience made him step away from social media and focus on his family and mental health.
Surprising Breakups at the Reunion
Corbin and Parmida Split
Corbin Mims and Parmida Keshani shocked their fellow Islanders when they announced they were no longer together. The couple had left the villa as an exclusive couple and even wrote supportive posts for each other on social media.
Parmida explained during the reunion that they realized they wanted different things in life. She said, “After we hung out and had a lot of conversations we just realized we want different things. There was really no point of being exclusive”.
She added, “I am happy with the memories that we made together, but I am excited to grow a friendship. And we’ve been hanging out as friends and it’s been great”. The couple assured fans that they remain friends.
Jaiden and Caleb: Hooked Up but Didn’t Last
Jaiden Bacciocco and Caleb McDaniel also revealed their split during the reunion. They hooked up briefly after leaving the villa but never developed a committed relationship.
Things got heated between them during the reunion. Jaiden claimed that Caleb did not try to make the relationship work. Caleb apologized, saying, “I could’ve handled it more maturely. I apologize that I didn’t. And I apologize that I hurt you in the middle of it. I wish I didn’t”.
Before the reunion, Jaiden had told Peacock she was “fully, fully, fully single”.
Gabriel and Jen: Just Friends
Gabriel Vasconcelos and Jen Terry confirmed they are just friends. Gabriel was dumped from the villa before they could really explore their connection.
Jen had reached out to Gabriel after leaving the show, and they stayed in contact. However, they both agreed during the reunion that they are friends without benefits.
New Romance Between Sydney and Ronnie
Sydney Eugene and Ronnie Gunter revealed that they developed a connection after leaving the villa. Sydney described their relationship as “very, very good” when asked about their time together.
Heated Confrontations and Unseen Footage
The reunion also showed previously unaired footage and featured several heated moments. A major confrontation happened between Melanie Moreno and Sol Dean over their time together in the villa.
Sol said she felt other Islanders had been making inappropriate comments about her body.
Another moment involved Aniya Harvey, Tierra Davis (Titi) , and KC Chandler. Aniya confronted Titi about comments made on Aftersun. Titi clarified that she didn’t mean to direct any negativity toward Aniya.
Sex Confessions
The reunion also included some bold confessions. When online comments about Carl not being able to handle Aniya in the bedroom were brought up, Aniya replied, “I fear he can”.
Caleb and Jaiden both agreed that they had a good time when they had sex after leaving the villa, but things fell apart afterward.
Jen told the audience she did not have sex with Gabriel, despite the show hinting at it.
