South Korean actor Uhm Tae Goo, known for his roles in My Sweet Mobster and The Age of Shadows, recently appeared on the popular variety talk show You Quiz on the Block. During the show, Uhm Tae Goo opened up about the struggles he faced early in his career, including a time when he couldn’t pay rent for two years. Despite these hardships, he recalled how his kind landlord supported him through this difficult period, even giving him vitamins when he finally managed to pay one month’s rent.

In addition to sharing his financial struggles, Uhm Tae Goo also told a touching story about a long-time crush. He revealed that during a date over 20 years ago, his crush rested her head and sighed, which he initially thought meant she had fallen asleep. He admitted that he never confessed his feelings to her because he was too shy and believed she didn’t share the same feelings.
