Prime Video has brought Elle Kennedy’s popular book series to the screen. Off Campus tells the story of college students at Briar University, where an elite ice hockey team takes center focus. The show follows relationships, personal struggles, and growing up during the college years.
The first season arrived on May 13, 2026, with all eight episodes dropping at once. A second season is already in the works, showing the streaming service has strong faith in this romantic drama.
Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli Lead Season One
The first season focuses on Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham. Hannah is a quiet music major who writes songs. Garrett is the hockey team’s star forward with big dreams of going pro. He needs a tutor to keep his grades up, and Hannah needs help getting the attention of her crush, Justin. Their deal starts as something simple but turns into much more.
Ella Bright, age 19, plays Hannah Wells. She is British and spent her teenage years on the CBBC series Malory Towers, earning Children’s BAFTA and Emmy nominations for that role. She also played young Kate Middleton on The Crown.
Belmont Cameli, age 28, plays Garrett Graham. He started acting in 2018 with a guest spot on Empire. Fans may know him best as Jamie Spano in the Saved by the Bell reboot. He also starred in the horror movie Until Dawn.
The Rest of the Main Cast
Josh Heuston, age 29, plays Justin Kohl. Justin is Hannah’s longtime crush and the reason the fake dating plan begins. In the show, he has been changed from a football player to the frontman of a rock band. Heuston is known for Netflix’s Heartbreak High and also appeared in Dune: Prophecy.
Mika Abdalla plays Allie Hayes. Allie is Hannah’s best friend and the emotional anchor of the friend group. In the books, Allie gets her own love story with Dean later on. Season one sets this up quietly in the background. Abdalla appeared in The Flash, Hulu’s Sex Appeal, and season one of The Pitt.
Antonio Cipriano, age 25, plays John Logan. Logan is one of Garrett’s housemates and best friends on the hockey team. He made his Broadway debut at 19 in Jagged Little Pill. He also had a regular role in Disney+’s National Treasure: Edge of History and appeared in Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.
Stephen Kalyn, age 28, plays Dean Di Laurentis. Dean is the charmer of the group—rich, a little arrogant, and known for avoiding relationships. Kalyn actually grew up playing hockey, making him the only real ice veteran among the main cast. He had a recurring role on Amazon’s Cruel Intentions reboot and appeared in Gen V, Prime Video’s The Boys spinoff.
Jalen Thomas Brooks, age 24, plays John Tucker. Tucker is the warm one who cooks for the house and keeps the group together. He played nurse Mateo Diaz in HBO’s The Pitt and also had roles in Walker and Animal Kingdom.
Recurring Faces You Might Know
Steve Howey, age 48, plays Phil Graham, Garrett’s father and a former NHL player. Fans of the sitcom Reba know him as Van Montgomery. He also had a long run on Shameless as Kevin and recently appeared in High Potential.
Khobe Clarke plays Beau Maxwell, Briar University’s star quarterback and one of Dean’s closest friends. Clarke is Canadian and has appeared in Firefly Lane, Yellowjackets, and Cruel Intentions.

Who Returns for Season Two
Off Campus has already been renewed for a second season. The show is based on five books, with each season expected to focus on a different couple.
Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli have both confirmed they will return. Cameli told Us Weekly, “We will be along for the ride the whole time.”
Mika Abdalla’s character Allie is set to become the lead of season three if not season two. Stephen Kalyn’s character Dean will take center stage in future seasons. Jalen Thomas Brooks is returning as Tucker for future seasons. Antonio Cipriano’s character Logan is expected to lead either season two or season three.
Josh Heuston will not appear in season two. Show creator Louisa Levy told TV Guide, “Not next season, but I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back.”
India Fowler has been cast as Grace Ivers, Logan’s love interest, for season two.
