Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ $20 Million Mansion Woes: Water Leaks Force Celebrity Couple to Make a Tough Decision

Loading

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas have been compelled to leave their luxurious $20 million dream house in Los Angeles. The couple had purchased the opulent abode for a staggering ₹166 crores, but unforeseen water leakage issues have prompted them to vacate.

The glamorous couple, often in the limelight for their social media posts, had been sharing glimpses of their dream house on various platforms. However, the dream turned into a nightmare as water damage started affecting multiple areas of their lavish home. The leakage issue became so severe that Priyanka and Nick had to face numerous difficulties, and the situation demanded immediate attention.

The sprawling mansion, boasting seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a controlled environment wine cellar, chef’s kitchen, home theater, bowling alley, spa, and shower facilities, had initially seemed like a perfect haven for the celebrity duo. Unfortunately, the water leaks led to visible damages, leaving Priyanka and Nick with no choice but to make the tough decision to vacate their dream home.

It’s reported that the couple had acquired the property in collaboration in 2019. However, the water damage woes emerged, making living conditions challenging for the Chopra-Jonas family. The water damage affected several parts of the house, causing visible cracks and requiring extensive repairs. Faced with mounting repair costs, Priyanka sought compensation from the property dealer, even resorting to legal action against them.

The repair estimates ranged from ₹13 to ₹20 crores, and the couple decided to sell the property in 2023, adding another layer to their challenges. Priyanka and Nick also faced criticism for their decision to shift their daughter, Malati Meera, to another residence instead of fixing the problems in their current home.

Recent reports also highlighted the couple’s visit to India, where Nick Jonas participated in the Lollapalooza India festival held in Mumbai. The duo received a warm welcome from Indian fans, who enthusiastically embraced the international celebrities. While they briefly enjoyed their time in India, Priyanka’s commitments to her Hollywood projects kept her busy.
