Priyanka Chahar Choudhary broke down in tears and threatened to slap Shehzad Poonawalla after he called her a “gold digger” on Rise & Fall Season 2. The argument started over a petty nickname and turned into one of the most personal fights the reality show has seen so far. The episode aired on September 30, 2026, and the clip has been circulating widely on social media since.
What Started The Fight Between Priyanka And Shehzad
The trouble began after Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was ruled out of the Ultimate Ruler race. Gautam Gulati had called her out for not being loyal to him. Shehzad Poonawalla then repeated Gautam’s words, which did not sit well with Priyanka. She responded by calling him a “manchild” — a term for a grown man who acts like a child.
“Ek 50 saal ki body me koi 5 saal ka bacha ghusa hua hai. Arre, he is a man-child.” — Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
Shehzad Poonawalla fired back with a personal attack. Sitting on either side of fellow contestant Raj Grover, he said:
“Gold digger bhi suna hoga. Gold digger suna hai? Gold digger to bahut hi common hai.” — Shehzad Poonawalla
Raj Grover looked confused and pointed out that the term “gold digger” did not fit the situation at all. Priyanka agreed with him.
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary Breaks Down Over Gold Digger Remark
The next morning, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary spoke to Swara Bhasker about what happened. She said the comment had kept her up all night. She cried as she explained that she is the one who supports her family financially.
“He called me a gold digger yesterday. Did I steal his gold and run away? This kept going around in my head all night because I am the one who supports my family.” — Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
Priyanka is one of six siblings. She has said in the past that she educated all six of them, helped them get married, and even funded her driver’s child’s education. She called herself a “self-made woman” during the conversation.
“I have six siblings, and I have educated all six of them, got them married, and helped them build their homes. And you call me a gold digger? I am a self-made woman.” — Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
The Slap Threat That Went Viral
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary did not stop at defending herself. She also warned Shehzad Poonawalla directly. The line that has been shared the most is her threat to slap him.
“Aisa tamacha maarke jaaungi naa, tamacha yahan bajega taaliyan bahar bajengi.” — Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
The Hindi phrase roughly translates to: “I will give him such a slap that while it lands here, the applause will be heard outside.”
She also mentioned that other contestants had told her that Shehzad had been slapped and thrown out of every political party he was part of. She questioned what kind of respect he commands.
“You guys told me that he has been ousted from every part after being slapped. Imagine what kind of image this guy has that he got beaten here too. He will get a slap from me too.” — Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
Priyanka also said she felt his “negative energy” while she slept at night. She described staring as “an invisible touch.”
Shehzad Poonawalla Responds To Priyanka
Shehzad Poonawalla did not back down. He accused Priyanka of playing the “victim card” and called her an “attention seeker.” He also spoke to fellow contestant Irina Rudakova about his concerns.
“My concern is that she is not a stable person; she makes unstable allegations.” — Shehzad Poonawalla
Shehzad also said he was afraid that Priyanka might make allegations against him that his “rivals” could use to damage his image. He told Irina that he wanted to leave the show because his reputation was at stake.
“I am not a bad guy, I’m a decent human being. Chalo game mein jo bhi hai woh hai, but beyond a certain point there is just so much I can do. I am done.” — Shehzad Poonawalla
What Happened With Siwet Tomar Before This Fight
The fight between Priyanka and Shehzad did not happen in isolation. Shehzad Poonawalla had a physical altercation with Siwet Tomar just days earlier. The fight happened after Shehzad named Siwet for elimination from the Ultimate Ruler race. Siwet charged towards Shehzad and grabbed him by the collar. Shehzad’s kurta was torn during the scuffle.
Siwet Tomar was evicted from the show after the fight. Shehzad later said he asked the makers not to evict Siwet.
“When I got beaten and I went out, in two hours of that while taking treatment, I told the makers, ‘Don’t send him out, keep him. Forgive him.’ You know why I said so? Because that boy is 29-30 years old. This is his bread and butter. It’s not my bread and butter.” — Shehzad Poonawalla
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary had been allies with Shehzad in the first episode. Their relationship changed after Priyanka called out Shehzad for making below-the-belt remarks about Siwet Tomar.
