SEVENTEEN’s Album Hits Over 3 Million Pre-Orders
K-pop group SEVENTEEN is making headlines as their upcoming 12th mini album, SPILL THE FEELS, has already surpassed 3 million pre-orders. According to the album distributor YG PLUS, as of September 27, the pre-order count stands at an impressive 3,088,395 copies. The album is set to release on October 14 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), just five months after the release of their best album, 17 IS RIGHT HERE, which came out in April 2024.
This achievement positions SEVENTEEN for another major success, as the group is well on its way to claiming another triple million-seller status. Pre-orders for the album began on September 13, and the group reached this milestone within just two weeks. With two more weeks until the official release, the pre-order numbers are expected to climb even higher.
Details of the New Album
SPILL THE FEELS will be released in six versions, including Ver.0, Ver.1, Ver.2, two KiT versions, and a Carat Version for dedicated fans. The album also includes a Weverse version. The group has completed filming the music video for the album’s title track, which will feature all thirteen members.
This release follows SEVENTEEN’s previous best album 17 IS RIGHT HERE and showcases their consistent popularity in the global K-pop scene. With their unique sound and dedicated fanbase, SPILL THE FEELS is expected to make waves upon its release.
Members’ Involvement and Upcoming Changes
Despite the album’s excitement, SEVENTEEN is also experiencing some bittersweet moments. PLEDIS Entertainment recently announced that Jeonghan will begin his mandatory military service on October 26, just 12 days after the album’s release. Jeonghan will not be able to participate in the group’s promotions for SPILL THE FEELS or their upcoming SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE world tour. However, Jeonghan actively contributed to the album, ensuring that his presence will still be felt.
In a heartfelt message posted on the group’s Weverse platform, Jeonghan expressed his gratitude to fans for their continued support:
“CARATs, it’s Jeonghan. I will not forget how grateful I am for the abundant love that CARATs always send me. For now, I’ll be cheering on the members’ activities alongside you all. I’ll eat well, sleep well, and take care of myself, so don’t worry. Stay healthy too, and I’ll see you again. I’ll be back!“
Jeonghan’s message highlights the strong bond between SEVENTEEN and their fanbase, known as CARATs.
Another member, Jun, will also miss the promotional activities due to his acting commitments in China. Despite these absences, both members have fully contributed to the album, ensuring that their efforts are reflected in SPILL THE FEELS.
Upcoming SEVENTEEN World Tour
In addition to the album, SEVENTEEN is preparing for their highly-anticipated 4th world tour, titled SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE. The tour will take the group to major locations such as Korea, the U.S., Japan, Thailand, and several other countries. This global event is expected to deliver powerful performances, with the group maintaining a high-energy schedule despite the absences of Jeonghan and Jun.
As SEVENTEEN continues to grow in influence, SPILL THE FEELS is set to mark another milestone in their already successful career. Fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the album’s release and the group’s upcoming tour.
