Singer Henry recently shared a story about how he wrote the song “It’s You” for singer and actress Suzy. The revelation happened on the music variety show ‘Moving Voices’ in Germany.
The Story Behind “It’s You”
Henry explained that the song was made for the original soundtrack of the 2017 drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’. This drama starred Suzy and Lee Jong Suk. He said he got footage from the drama to help him write the song. With a playful tone, he mentioned that he spent a lot of time looking at Suzy’s face for inspiration, and that’s how he created the melody.
A Funny and Sincere Performance
After telling the story, Henry got a little shy about singing the song for Suzy in person. This made everyone laugh. Suzy also laughed at his playful words and actions before he started singing. Before beginning, he even shouted Suzy’s name and said, “Oppa’s about to sing.”
