Fans of the hit drama Sullivan’s Crossing finally have a date to mark on their calendars. The popular series, based on the novels by Robyn Carr, is returning for a fourth season with a major conflict in store for Maggie and Cal.
The new season will premiere on April 20, 2026 in the United States. It airs on The CW from 8 to 9 p.m. ET/PT. The season consists of 10 episodes .

Canadian viewers will get to see the drama unfold earlier. Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4 debuts on CTV in Canada on March 22, 2026. It airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT .

What Happens in Season 4?
The new season picks up right where the shocking Season 3 finale left off. The official logline reveals that Maggie Sullivan’s (Morgan Kohan) life is finally coming together. She has made a decision about her career and renewed her commitment to Cal (Chad Michael Murray).
But her ex-husband, Liam (Marcus Rosner) , arrives with a shocking revelation. This news disrupts Maggie’s life again and makes Cal question if she can ever truly leave her past behind .
Marcus Rosner, who plays Liam, joins the main cast this season. Other new faces include Jonathan Silverman as a disgruntled guest named Quincy Carlson. Glen Gould, Fuad Ahmed, Colby Frost, and Emerson MacNeil also appear in guest-starring roles .
A Major Character Exits
One key character will be missing this season. Scott Patterson, who plays Maggie’s father Sully, will not return for Season 4.
Showrunner Roma Roth confirmed the news, explaining that Season 4 starts the day after Sully left for Ireland with his girlfriend Helen. “While he isn’t physically present in this season, the character remains an important part of the world with the potential to be included in future seasons,” Roth said in a statement .
Returning Cast and Characters
While Sully is absent, the core cast is back. Morgan Kohan returns as Maggie Sullivan, and Chad Michael Murray is back as Cal Jones .
Other returning favorites include Tom Jackson as Frank Cranebear and Andrea Menard as Edna Cranebear. Lindura returns as Sydney Shandon, and Dakota Taylor is back as Rafe. Reid Price also returns as Rob Shandon .
Amalia Williamson is back as Lola Gunderson. Guest stars returning this season include Cindy Sampson as Jane, Steve Lund as Fire Chief Cooper, and Meghan Ory as Sedona.
