Ted Lasso Season 4 will hit the streaming platform on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The new season brings back Jason Sudeikis as the cheerful American coach and adds several fresh faces to the lineup.
Production began earlier this year in Kansas City and London. The new season picks up three years after the third season finale, which many thought was the end of the show.
Returning Cast Members Confirmed for Season 4
Most of the main cast members are coming back for the new episodes. Hannah Waddingham returns as Rebecca Welton, the team owner who became Ted’s close friend. Juno Temple is back as Keeley Jones, the sharp public relations expert. Brett Goldstein will once again play Roy Kent, the gruff but lovable former captain now turned coach.

Other returning regulars include Jeremy Swift as the kind-hearted director of football operations Leslie Higgins, and Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, Ted’s loyal and quirky assistant coach.

New Faces Joining the Apple TV+ Comedy
Season four brings seven new cast members to Richmond. Tanya Reynolds, known for her role in “Sex Education,” joins the show. Jude Mack, who appeared in Netflix’s “Back in Action,” is also part of the new season. Faye Marsay, recognized for her work in “Andor” and “Game of Thrones,” joins the lineup.
Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern (who appeared in “My Lady Jane” and “Enola Holmes 2”) are also joining the cast. Grant Feely takes over the role of Ted’s son Henry, replacing Gus Turner who played the character in previous seasons.

The shift to a women’s team brings fresh stories and challenges. The teaser trailer, released by Apple TV+ on April 28, 2026, shows Ted getting back into action in London and offers glimpses of both returning and new cast members.
