The Office fans are in for a treat this summer. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced The Office: The Complete Series โ Superfan Extended Episodes. This new collection brings together all nine seasons with extended cuts of every episode. The set includes more than 25 hours of extra footage that never made it to the original TV broadcasts.
The release arrives on July 14, 2026. It will be available on Digital platforms and Blu-ray for the first time ever. This marks a major moment for fans who have been waiting to own the complete Superfan versions of the show.
What Makes This Release Special
The collection spans 194 expanded episodes. Each episode has been rebuilt with added scenes, giving viewers a fresh look at the daily chaos inside Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The total runtime for the entire series now reaches 100 hours and 21 minutes.
Creator Greg Daniels worked with the original creative team to reconstruct every single episode. They added extended scenes, deeper character moments, and jokes that were cut from the initial broadcasts. The result is a version of The Office that feels familiar yet completely new.
Kate Flannery, who played Meredith Palmer, shared her thoughts on the extended episodes in a 2021 interview. She said:
โI always loved the way every episode came out, but we always overshotโwe shot 40 pages and maybe 23 or 24 made it in. A lot of Meredith stuff got cut, so Iโm selfishly happy to kind of relive those moments, because I kind of forgot about some of them.โ
Deleted Scenes Fans Can Look Forward To
The new set includes many deleted moments that fans have never seen. One standout scene comes from Season 9. In it, Jim and Pam prank Dwight into believing he is living inside The Matrix. The setup includes a fake security team, a staged glitch, and a guard.
Another deleted scene from Season 3 shows more of Stanley’s love for pretzels. Viewers will see him quietly sneaking back into line to get a second pretzel.
Online discussions have also pointed to two unusual deleted storylines. In one scene, Phyllis casually mentions that she and Bob hit someone with their car while on vacation and kept driving. The deleted scene shows a darker side of their relationship. In another extended arc from A Benihana Christmas, Kelly and Ryan’s toxic dynamic gets highlighted when they end up dumpster diving together to recover a lost holiday gift.
How to Watch the Superfan Extended Episodes
For the first time, these extended versions will be available for purchase outside of Peacock. The Superfan Episodes were exclusive to Peacock since 2021. Now fans can own the complete collection as a 30-disc Blu-ray set or through digital platforms.
Preorders are already open on major retail sites. The release gives fans a chance to own physical copies of the show in its most complete form.
The Office originally ran on NBC for nine seasons from 2005 to 2013. The show became one of the most popular sitcoms of its time. It earned many awards, including the 2006 Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, a Peabody Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy.
The series reached new levels of popularity in 2020 when audiences revisited it on Netflix. That year, the show reached 57 billion minutes streamed, making it Netflix’s most-watched licensed show.
