Reiya’s father introduced Yuzu to the other attendees at the banquet, which instantly placed a protective wall around her within the ayakashi community. Yuzu also had a polite and sincere exchange with Nadeshiko from the fox clan, who had apologized on behalf of her family. This gesture won Nadeshiko over to Yuzu’s side and further isolated Karin from any potential fox clan support.
The most intense moment came when Karin confronted Yuzu at the banquet. Karin threw harsh words at her sister, but Yuzu stood her ground without flinching. The strength Yuzu showed during this confrontation was a direct result of the confidence she had built after facing her parents and choosing her own path.
Karin left the banquet humiliated and more determined than ever to destroy Yuzu’s happiness. The episode ended with Karin plotting her next move, setting the stage for the sisters to clash again in episode 11.

The anime is produced by Colored Pencil Animation Japan, with Kazuhito Ōmiya directing and Yumi Kamakura handling series composition.
