Filming Moves to the French Riviera
Season 4 takes place in the south of France . The main location is the Château de la Messardière, a luxury five-star hotel in Saint-Tropez . This 19th-century castle sits on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
The show will not film only at one spot. Crews will also shoot at other places along the French Riviera and at a hotel in Paris . Production is set to run from April through October 2026 .
Previous seasons filmed at Four Seasons resorts in Hawaii, Sicily, and Thailand. But for Season 4, HBO decided to try a different hotel group .

Mike White writes and directs every episode . He keeps plot details secret, so no one knows exactly what will happen in France. The new French cast members will likely play locals who interact with the foreign guests .
This approach worked well before. Murray Bartlett (Season 1), Sabrina Impacciatore (Season 2), and Lisa from BLACKPINK (Season 3) all played local characters who became highlights of their seasons.
