Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer have reached an agreement to end their marriage, nearly five years after Meyer filed for divorce. The deal, which still needs a judge’s approval, covers their marital status but leaves several financial and custody matters unresolved. The former couple has also agreed to bring in a private judge to handle any remaining disputes as they work toward a full settlement.

Meyer, 49, filed documents on September 16 in Los Angeles County Superior Court stating that she and Maguire, 51, have reached an agreement solely about dissolving their marriage, according to court documents obtained by People. The agreement would restore both of them to single status once a judge signs off.
