Leading up to their debut, ILLIT has been releasing teasers for their first album, “SUPER REAL ME,” and its title track, “Magnetic.” Snippets of “Magnetic” have already gained significant traction on TikTok, praised for its catchy sound and undeniable resemblance to the popular music of NewJeans. ILLIT’s members are also receiving positive attention for their visuals and talent, honed during their winning run on R U Next?
Trendy Style, Comparisons, and Divided Opinions
The city-pop, Y2K aesthetic ILLIT seems to be embracing is undeniably trendy. However, the combination of five members with long dark hair has drawn comparisons to NewJeans.
